Online resources
Getting the kindle edition is most likely a bad idea. If you are a student who needs access to the online resources, this is a terrible idea. The paperback edition purchase comes with an access code to these materials, while for some odd reason the online one does not. This seems odd, considering the fact that purchasing the kindle edition means you should also have access to the same materials that someone who purchases the paperback edition does. This is a terrible purchase for anyone who needs this book for a class, do not get it!!

I was able to rent this book and I can send it back at the end of the semester so I don't have to store a book I won't ever use again.

Ugh.
This is a dry, dry read. Hard to get through the small chapters, and the organization is a bit lacking. Pages are too busy. The "critical thinking" tidbits are the best part. Review questions are strange, and the only way to get the answers is online, one chapter at a time. Wish it was easier to study from!

I didn't see that coming!
I've never had any trouble with any products I've received from Amazon but the book I purchased for school was not what I expected. Chapter 17 and part of chapter 18 in the textbook was folded and sealed shut and wasn't able to read the pages without ripping it. Also, chapters 18 and 19 is printed side ways so some of the sentences are chopped off and not readable. I couldn't returned the book because class started the following week and wouldn't have a textbook to complete my assignments. These three chapter were the only chapters that was defected. I was disappointed in the quality of the textbook.
