Royal Enfield: The Complete Story

This is a very good history book on the Royal Enfield brand and is very complete, covering all of the different models. It has a lot of pictures which I used for reference during a motorcycle restoration, which is the reason I got it. Walker writes very good reference books, so this one is no different from his others.

Good Book

If you plan to buy or restore a RE of any ilk, buy this book. The Indian (sub-continent) bikes are not covered that much, but sufficient. The historical profiles will keep you from buying a lemon. Some REs were great, others not so much. The Constellation is one such failure. Avoid it. With the surge of the much better built UCE Indian bikes, RE has taken on new interest in the west. The text is well written, and not overly technical. Anyone can grasp the specifications and points the author is making. The photos are black and white. They illustrate every era quite well. The price is more than fair for this resource.

Got this for my fiancé who is a motorcycle fanatic. He read it within a few days and enjoyed it.

Christmas gift.

I really liked the Royal Enfield Complete Story book. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is a hard cover. It is well written, informative, and has many good photos.

My husband loved it. He owns a 60's model Royal Enfield and just recently restored it -- so it was a perfect gift for him.
