Big and strong
Love it! Better than plastic containers, healthier too. I use it for fruit, fits a whole sliced watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon. Great value, easy to clean, seals works, and fits nicely in the refrigerator.

1.75 gallons, non-reactive, strong, works great for making corned beef
This is a nice large (1.75 gallons / 28 cups) very sturdy glass container that is perfect for making corned beef. I’ve tried several different enamel pans in the past, and I never felt certain that they were truly 100% non-reactive. (It’s easy to have imperfections in the larger enamel stock pots or to have it chip.) This borosilicate glass container is perfect. It will never chip, react, or contaminate the brine. Just what I was looking for.
