Do not buy the sandy beige Dylan
I always use Dylan washing machine dye and have amazing results. First time using this colour and it has ruined the bed sheet. The dye is even but it has left weird blue spots all over. Clearly there is something wrong with the batch as it is affecting many users. DO NOT USE. I read the reviews and ignored them. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

works
Works well but the subject material needs to be lightish or lightened before use. This can be a problem depending on the type of material. dylons own lightener did not work on my dark brown cotton cords.

Not sure!
I used this on a white skirt and although the colour of the dye came out well (exactly as described), lots of very small black dots appeared - almost as if there was some black dye particles in it, which spoilt the skirt and I ended up dying it black to cover it up. They weren't visible or apparent on the skirt before I dyed it, not had I done any other dyeing in the machine beforehand, so I can only assume it was something wrong with the dye.

Rubbish DONT BUY!
I would like to have rated it no stars if I could this product has ruined a 100% expensive sweater and 4 100% cotton pillowcases. The colour is supposed to be beige which it is but it has left dark blue and pink spots over everything!😡 The sweater is now in wearable and the pillowcases are just fit for cleaning cloths. Very angry, I’ve used lots of these in different colours and never had a problem before.

Not the colour the packaging states
Was expecting clothes to be a beige like a sandy beach colour. What I got was a khaki coloured pair of jeans and t-shirt. Clothing will have to be dyed again.

Awful
I have used Dylon products for several years and always found them to be of excellent quality. Unfortunately, my most recent experience couldn't have been any further away from the previous. After reading through other reviews I was a little put off by the number of negative reviews but decided to give Dylon the benefit of the doubt and purchased anyway. What a mistake, I should have used another brand for this colour. What is supposed to be a beige colour turned a white double bedspread into a mucky greyish brown colour (see image). I only used one pod too as I didn't want the full on effect and I'm so glad I did. I can't imagine how bad the colour would have been if I'd have used two as per the recommendation within the instructions.Trust the reviews - I wish I did!
