We just bought and installed a new over the range microwave oven. The light that came with the oven provided no appreciable light. Couldn't see anything cooking or the stove top due to the lack of brightness on high. Low was all but nonexistent. We replaced the original lights with these bulbs and WOW, what a difference. Much brighter than we expected. Our old microwave seemed to have adequate light but these bulbs exhibited the brightest illumination that we have ever seen from an over the stove microwave. Easily installed. No flickering on low noticed as mentioned by some other reviewers. Don't hesitate to replace your old microwave bulbs with these. You won't be disappointed.

Used one of these to replace the down-light from my over the range microwave. The light is much brighter than the stock halogen, and produces much less heat if left on!

This is my second go around with these 75 watt G8 LED replacements (I'm not too bright I guess...). I first purchased a 3 pack of these a few years back. Two of those bulbs burned out within days and I got my refund (Thanks Amazon). Back then only cool white was available and my wife didn't like the color anyway. Fast forward to the warm white version 2 pack. Again the first bulb burnt out within 3 days, They don't seem to like any vibration such as the opening and closing of a microwave door. Hopefully the 2nd bulb will burn out before my refund period expires. The value equation just isn't there for these. You'll get better odds at the casino if you're looking to save pennies by throwing dollars away. Update: Bulb #2 burnt out after 2 days and I will once again receive a refund (thanks Amazon!)

My old microwave died and was replaced by an over the stove GE microwave, but it came with an anemic 50 watt bulb for the above stove light which made it very difficult to see what I was cooking, so I went looking for a replacement. Upon trying this G8 75 watt LED bulb, the light is much, much brighter, so I am very happy about that. However, although the description says that the bulb is dimmable, that feature didn't really work for me. The microwave has two power levels for the light, and it works fine on high, but when I set it to low, the bulb flickers. That's not a deal breaker for me, but it could be for others, so I did knock off one star for that.

This bulb looks like a corn cob since there's so many LEDs on each one. But these don't put out the rated Lumens. They are about half as bright as the incandescent 25W bulbs I replaced with the new LEDs. I had high hopes that we could save some power by upgrading to LEDs, didn't happen. I may need to ship these back.

Works well in LG Microwave. Runs very cool vs. the replaced OEM 50w 130v halogen bulb. Installed one week time will tell about life span. Dimmable mode causes flicker. We just use high/off mode.

I originally changed my outdoor halogen lights shining upon the house with 3W LED lights but they were not bright enough. I bought these and their 7W LED lights and much better. I did have to modify the light fixture slightly because the reflecting shield opening in the light fixture wasn't big enough. After I made the hole larger to accommodate this new light it works great. I'm not worried about any heat because these LEDs hardly use any electricity and generate very little heat.

Purchased these to replace over-the-stove/under microwave lighting. Great lighting and color warmth, as advertised. However, that's where the good news ends. On anything other than full power (high vs. low for this fixture), they flicker horribly - completely unusable on low setting. We can live with only using the stove light on high, but the lifespan of these units is horrible. All 4 burned out under normal daily use (maybe 3-4 hours/day), at varying intervals, and after less than one year, all 4 are gone (there are 2 sockets in the fixture). These LED bulbs are supposed to last YEARS, not months. Completely unacceptable. Only gave 2 stars because when they work (on high only) they are great lights. But useless and very expensive to have to replace after less than what equated to an average of less than 6 months each (it took 2 bulbs to light each socket for such a limited time before they each died). Average life span seems to be only about 4-6 months, at approx. 3-4 hours/day.
