StoreYourBoard Garage Wall Shelf, 2x4 ft, Holds 400 lb, 6 Hooks, 2 Pack

Easy to install. Sturdy. Looks good.

I got these shelves instead of another option in my list because of a lightning deal, and expected something comparable. These though blew my mind in how sturdy, practical, and easy to install. The shelves are designed so you can't mess up if you don't follow the instructions it's that easy. The hooks included already make for a lot of flexible options that I've found very useful. I'm extremely pleased with this product.

Easy install. Heavy duty. Exactly as described.

Really seems like pretty well made shelves, quite easy to put together, and and you can be a little off on your measurements and it won't punish you. The instructions could be a bit more clear for people who don't have much experience doing this sort of thing. I noticed another comment saying that the shelves didn't quite span 48 inches (the length between 4 studs) and their shelves didn't fit properly. What the makers don't describe in the instructions is that they really expect you to drill at 32 inches (the standard length between 3 studs) so you have about 8 inches of overhang from the support braces on either side. Also, there were a couple points on the shelf sections themselves I needed to hammer out a bit because they were slightly bent and didn't fit. All of these things are small and I really like the shelves. So still 5 stars. Just wanted to give a little heads up to people.

Very pleased with this product. Well designed, well engineered, well built and packaged with care. Shelves arrived in perfect condition. Instructions were great. The design was elegant in its simplicity; very strong without resorting to the use of excessive installation of unnecessary screws. Glad to be able to order a product designed in the USA from a company that also makes many of its products here as well. Highly recommend.

The shelves are sturdy, assembled very easily, and look great. The J hooks can be locked to the shelf and still slide the length of the shelves. The shelves themselves get locked to the supports but there's nothing preventing them from sliding side to side. That's not much of an issue with any amount of weight on them but could use a solution. I have to ding them two stars for the hardware. Like several other reviewers, one of my lag bolts snapped off despite being driven into pilot holes as large as the unthreaded portion of the bolts. Do yourself a favor and buy better ones from a hardware store. I'm replacing all 16 of mine just in case (~1.50 a piece). With the cost of these shelves I fully expect better bolts. As far as the complaints about the 46.5" lengths not being conducive to mounting on joists, don't place supports at 0" and 48". That would flex the whole length of the shelf anyway. Put them into joists at 7.5" and 40.5" (two joists distance). Multiple shelves can be placed in a row with one unused joist at the 3" gap between shelves.

Bought this to bring our garage out of chaos and it has worked great!! It can hold WAY more than I expected! Love that I can hang, stack, and store so much on it! Install was very simple and took about 45 minutes. I will be buying more for the rest of the "stuff" we have accumulated!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- I can only rate 4 stars because one of the lids arrived cracked in half and unusable. The packaging is an only a thin box to cover the items, but it does nothing to protect the boxes/lids. The quality of the bins is great, which is why I picked them. They FEEL rugged and sturdy. The tops, however, aren’t rugged and sturdy. I wouldn’t advise stacking the boxes if they are too heavy and/or aren’t filled to the top because you risk cracking/bending. The empty boxes are lightweight and easy to move around. They’re HUGE and hold a lot. We found it was much more convenient to use vacuum-sealed bags and stack them inside to get the most out of them. **Warning** If the item arrives damaged like mine did, there aren’t singular replacement parts so you have to send the entire order back for a refund/full replacement. This caused the point deduction. Additionally, they asked for the item to be returned in its original packaging. We had already used the ones that weren’t broken, so we’d have to unload them to send them back. Plus, we had already broken down the box.

These fit great above our garage door and helped utilize what was once wasted space. They are strong, look great, and were easy to install.

Excellent, strong, good quality

Sturdy, easy install if you have the correct tools. Perfect distance from stud to stud.

Worked perfectly in our garage
