This tape dispenser is fantastic! The color is cheerful and brings a modern twist to a typically drab office supply. As desks and workspaces become more compact, the old/black/heavy tape dispensers simply take up too much space. This one is lightweight and compact, yet functional without feeling "cheap". It also cuts the tape really well!

I wasn't expecting it to come with a roll of tape already in it, let alone for that tape to be of any sort of quality, but I used it last night to tape wrapping paper over holiday gifts, and it was nearly as good as brand-name tape, and much better quality than the generic tape that my son brought home from the local shop.It's definitely sturdy, and looks like it'll hold up to a lot of use, which is great!I remember that tape dispensers I've had in the past had a little bit of sand or added weight to the bottom of it, so the tape dispenser didn't lift up when you pull on the tape; this dispenser doesn't have any such thing. I had to hold the dispenser in place with one hand, and use the other to pull the tape, which is not at all convenient when trying to wrap gifts and needing to hold the paper in place as well, in order to apply the tape to it. It seems that the manufacturer's wanted this dispenser to be lightweight, so the lack of weight seems to be deliberate. Not a good choice, in my opinion; should've just kept the weighted-bottom design that old dispensers used to have.I took two stars away for the inconvenience of needing an extra hand to hold the dispenser in place, but added a star for the quality of the bonus roll of tape that came with the dispenser. So, 4 out of 5 stars.

These are super fun colors for kids! Good for homeschool as it's easy to find and seems to stay in place okay. They don't work well on tablecloths but do stay on countertops. The tape itself is thin but I just replaced a roll with one I had and it works okay

Love it, except it is not weighed down.

I wasn't sure I understood how a tape dispenser could be described as "cute," but when I received this one I found I have to agree. The color is appealing, and it is large enough and sturdy enough to get the job done, but it is small enough to fit into tight spaces for storage.The dispenser even comes with a roll of tape loaded in it, although the extra rolls I had in my drawer fit just fine, as well. The bottom is treated so that it won't scratch wood surfaces or slide around when you are using it.This is a great value, and I really like it! It's cute!

I purchased thinking it would fit the normal "scotch tape" brand. It doesn't, that brand is too wide. The tape that came with it, I could not get it to start and had to toss it. Now, I have a dispenser with no tape that won't work for me.

Too light weight. You can't pull the tape without picking the whole dispenser up because it has no weight.

This is ready to use right out of the box. Open it grab the tape that is already in it and pull and tear. Its hard plastic with a good cutting edge. Color is bright and it does the job each pull and tear.
