These are no exception - they are excellent. While they do have "sneaker-ish" bottoms, I wouldn't call them sneakers per se - the top is a dress shoe...but the comfort is definitely like that of a sneaker. They fit true to size - with a little room to flex, which is a good thing. I wore them to something where I had to stand for a few hours and no issues whatsoever even though I had gotten the shoes literally THAT day. No break in period needed, just comfortable. They are nice, soft leather so that probably has a lot to do with it. These look great with dress pants or jeans, and it instantly dresses up your look even if it's casual. The design is classic, cool and classy. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend these as your "all purpose" shoes for anywhere you need to go. They are fantastic.
