Given how expensive this set is, I was a little hesitant because of all the 1 star reviews it has. I ordered it three days ago, received it last night, and set it up in no time. The directions are very self explanatory, setting up and getting access to the songs is also super easy. WiFi is 100% needed, but using the app to guide songs is super fun and easy. Sound quality is great, and song choice is pretty wide. I was able to get it up and running within 20 mins, and after only using it one time, I’m very satisfied.

This product is great! We have had countless hours of entertainment with it!Best feature in my opinion is the ability to play “media” as well. The built in karaoke songs always seem “cheesy” to me. With the media option, you can purchase other professional karaoke songs from elsewhere and play them on this device!The mics sound great, work very nicely, and the interface for the user is also very easy going.

We are disappointed with this product. We installed the unit only to discover that (1) there will be streaming problems when searching for a song or artist; (2) the voice search does not work well even when you try to speak slowly and clearly. The machine does not pick up or recognize your request; (3) the background or instrumental music doesn't sound good or of professional quality; (4) when you search for a song, it does not allow you to type in the full title of the song.

Since it's not my first hands on that kind of karaoke system, my expectations where very high and I was scared to be disappointed. But after unpacking it, installing it and trying it, I'm very happy. Particularly since it's so expensive. Like I said, I tried all the top brands (Grand Videoke, Platinum and Magic Sing) using all wireless mics, I knew that compared to wired mics those mics have the flaws of getting interference from other radio emitting devices close by, they have a delay sometimes and need not to be too close to each other. But till now, it deliver even better than with all the other devices I tried at friends places.My only concern and where I remove a star is that you cannot plug a wired mic and that is very sad, since there is no way to do that with no plug. That is a must, you have to put that back in next top models. Also, there is no bluetooth connectivity, just wifi and 2.4Ghz. From a device that is built with smart FHD and 4K tv in mind, I would expect bluetooth connection asnd dualband wifi since 5.0Ghz is getting less interference from devices around that also use wifi signal.Other than that, the song list that come built-in is very good with many recent songs (of course there is many missing also). I also love to be able to adjust the tempo for those songs too fast, to be able to lower the volume of the music in the background or if there is vocals, you can also lower or raise the volume too. All in all, it's a great product. Is it perfect, no.Perfect for adding action and interaction in futur parties.P.S.: Be aware that the set you buy is brand new (not open box), if this is what you want like me. Since I notice some used, refurbished or new but open box set.P.S.S: Finally, be careful of the model you choose as many older model don't have an hdmi connection for new smart tv. My tv have no rca connection, but many hdmi, usb, etc. So be sure to check your tv, but I would suggest to think for the futur and go for hdmi. Some complain of a delay in the sound rendering from the tv. I don't have this issue, but if you do, just connect the sound to an audio system like a home theater or an outside speaker set.Have fun!

Weird synthetic music and missing a lot of current songs. Which is weird since it is WiFi enabled and should be able to get constant updates.

200,000 PLUS songs for $50 a year, NO MORE CHIPS, No more "you don't have my song" My Filipino wife LOVES this new system! No more books to pass around, everyone just uses the app on their phone and queue their choices up! Because it is streamed, the music arraignments and quality is SO MUCH BETTER! Only criticism I have so far is that the APP can get a little glitchy at times, but that seems to be getting better over time. 100% recommend this system, Absolutely worth the extra $$ !!!

The song selection is really the only pro to this product.They don't tell you that the background song to the karaoke is very synthy instrumentals that is paced way to fast to make the song sound remotely like the original.There is a really intense reverberation even with an external speaker and a good distance between the microphones and the speaker. In addition, if two people stand close to one another with the microphones they squeak or one stops working.It's a really cool concept and I so badly wanted it to work but unless they work out the product flaws it's far too expensive.

Easy to hook. I would recommend an external speaker if you can because the tv has sounds delays with mic, but external speakers works great. Awesome selection of music in many languages and updates the list regularly via wifi. Much better than the standard chip versions.
