It’s quiet and efficient
Since it has turned cold the heating element is wonderful, much better than my small room heater. Also very nice in the summer with the oscillating fan blowing cool air around. I keep it on the night selection so it’s soundless during the day and night. A good investment.

Love it
I love that there’s a heater on here. It makes some noise but not too loud. It’s easy to use. I didn’t know that there was a filter on it until my sister told me. I guess I should’ve read the manual. There’s a timer on there so you could set it to turn off. Overall, it was worth it.

Dyson Customer Service is Horrible
After only a few weeks of having the HP02 it completely died on me. Wouldn't turn on at all. I contact Dyson customer service and they offer to replace it for me - great! But the HP02 was out of stock so they said they would let me know when it was back in stock and would send my replacement. A month goes by with no word so I reach out again. At this point I said I would take one that was cheaper, I just really needed it before my baby was born. Okay sure no problem just send us back the broken purifier and we will send a new one out. The rep I spoke to A MONTH AGO said nothing about sending the old one back. (Looking back I am sure they take them back to refurbish them) but in my mind, the rep never mentioned sending it back so why would I hang onto a dead fan when they told me once it's in stock a replacement would be sent? I threw it in the trash. In this economy I can't afford to just throw away $500 but that's exactly what I had to do. They need to teach their reps to explain the process a bit better to the customer. Most companies do not ask to send back the broken product anymore. Go to their Facebook page and you will see 1,000 reviews just like mine about their customer service and people waiting on replacements for months. I was a die hard Dyson fan with multiple vacuums and purifiers by then but never again.

Second purchase, loving these fans!
We bought our first version of this (the HP01) with my first daughter because we live in a 1950s house with the original single pane glass windows - custom sized so we have not been able to replace them yet due to cost. These fans make it possible to keep the nursery so much warmer on winter nights. We bought this fan for our second daughter’s room knowing we could trust it and chose to get this slightly upgraded version so we could control it from our phones since it connects to wifi. It also comes with a remote which is nice. We opted for this over other heaters/fans because it also serves as an air purifier so it combines multiple devices into one sleek device. Highly recommend!

Great but remote came with dead battery
I bought two more of these after having one for a couple years that I loved. One worked great out of the box and the other one wouldn't turn on. My husband figured out that the battery was dead in the remote. So we had to go buy a battery, which was annoying. It is a good price though and the noise is nice to sleep with. It makes no difference with my allergies but I like that it does hot and cold and my air feels kind of cleaner. Using the heat setting in the winter still makes my electric bill expensive, roughly the same as a space heater. It's generally easy to use, as long as your remote battery isn't dead. It's weird there's no setting on the machine because what if you lose the remote? I guess you can't use it anymore so I'm super careful with the remotes.

Worth the cost
I purchased this item when it was on sale after having it on my wishlist for a year. I have it in my office at work so I can regulate the temp without affecting everyone else (1 thermostat). I love the built in thermostat that allows me to set a temperature and it’ll automatically juggle between heat and air to regulate. So nice not having to switch it between heater and fan manually. It runs very quiet and you hardly even know it’s on. Overall, I think it’s worth the $500 I paid for it but not sure I’d give the $630 that I see it priced at normally.

Clicking Noise When Oscillating
Everything on the fan works great, but there is an annoying clicking noise when the fan is oscillating. I have the fan setup in a bedroom and while asleep I like it on level 1 (which is perfect when it comes to noise level while sleeping) but the clicking noise while oscillating is loud enough to wake me up. It's only a week and a half old and still eligible for return on Amazon, but not an exchange for some reason. I would return and rebuy, but I got it on sale and it costs significantly more now.I now have to decide if I want to keep it and just deal with the noise, or return it and wait and see if it goes on sale again, or try to find a different model or brand. Very disappointed...

Did not get what I paid for.
It’s a great heater and fan but I bought the HP02 used model with WiFi but I received the non WiFi fan in the box.
