Had two of these running above a garage - south facing since last Summer and they are performing well but they won't work on most UK Winter nights for very long, particularly if cloudy. That said, when up and running they are an excellent option for lighting in an unlit drive and for security most of the year. Hoping they last a few years. Most solar lights pretty flimsy but these are reasonably robust. Best of the solar lights I have used though an 'off' until triggered option would be an excellent optional setting rather than being always on at low level when dark thus draining the stored power.

I love these lights so much so that I purchased 5. A little concerned about how long they will last based on what I have read in other reviews. Well packaged and quality manufacture. Really pleased with these lights.

very pleased with my purchase its a great light when i let the dogs out last thing at night .Stays on a low light and as you walk towards it it gets brighter when you come in it takes 20 seconds to go to low light .Brilliant piece just love it very happy customer .fast service.Would highly recommend.you can turn light off button and on black button underneath solar panel.

Good build quality and large solar panel means it is working even in the midst of winter but runs out of energy if activated regularly, this shouldn't be a problem out of the winter months. The main issue with this lamp is getting it to point where you want but at the same time getting the solar panel angled and facing the sun. The second issue, it is a bit too sensitive, with no way of reducing this, and passing cars set mine off if they have warm engines after their commute home from work. On the whole though I would rather have it up as not, and I am hoping it will deter any thief from coming up my drive.

The light is just what i wanted brill it is lovely and bright worth every penny looks good to iwas even able to write outside with it working on my sequel to the amorous postman marvellous.

Good bright light however it cannot be set to off until activated so even on dim light it does not last long if little sun

Nicely made but pir didn't work.contacted company who promised to send out a free of charge unit but this never happened.

Easy to set up, Easy to use and it works well. If we need another we would definitely buy again.
