Back from the Future.
This works.Good art, good characterisation, intelligent writing, interesting supporting cast growing organically and a thread of humour that remains just tongue in cheek enough.The question is - why?The unique point about Spiderman 2099 was surely the 2099 aspect. Taking him and putting him in the here and now with a drive to 'save the Future' is all very 'Terminator' and should therefore be dull and familiar - to my surprise it is actually engaging and enjoyable.I really, really liked that other Spider-Man stand-in the Scarlet Spider in his last series which was cut short do I fear the longevity of this title, especially with so much Spider-product out there but so far so - recommended
