Awesome canteen! This will replace the bulky canteen sets I carried in the Marines. I like using water bladders for camping/hiking, but the risk of breaking them always made me carry an extra canteen with a cup as a backup. This is the perfect size to throw in to a bag and keep the bulk down. Cup is a good size and is perfect for a cup of coffee or a soup. Fits a standard 12oz mug with room to spare. The cup rattles a bit, as the canteen is a bit smaller than the cup, but this is a win for me as I can fit a piece of leather in between to use an impromptu oven mit to grab it when it is hot. The size is also perfect for everyday use, fits in a pocket for a quick hike or an afternoon of fishing. The metal is thick, well constructed and have no doubt this will stand up to serious abuse. Not exactly lightweight, but I rather have durability for this type of item. 5 stars to the pathfinder team for this product.

Fits a little more water than I was expecting, I have other pathfinder bottles and this is by far the best quality. Heavier / sturdier construction than their other kits.

Great product. So I've had this in my cart for like a year but just couldn't bring myself too buy it. I'm glad I finally did. It's an item you can hand down too your kids. It's great quality and build. If your looking at it I'd say just buy it.

This I a very nice looking canteen. It is smaller than other canteens and great for packing a day pack. Very satisfied.

Iv bought alot of pathfinder gear and its exactly what I thought it would be. You can't go wrong with most things designed by dave Canterbury he's well known in the survival and bushcraft crowd for a good reason. I bought this for an edc bottle that would fit into a cargo pocket without being to bulky like the round bottles are and it works perfectly. The only improvement id make to this is it is a little bit rattly kind of annoying realy and the strap doesn't do the best job of stopping it but I wrapped a couple of layers of no12 bank line around the bottle and it goes in nicely and comely Stepps the rattle and makes the bottle nice and tight. If you follow my advice and do this don't wrap the whole bottle it looks nice but its pretty much impossible to get the bottle back out by hand it took a bit of thinking on my part to get them separated without damage. Just 5 to 10 wraps max.

Very durable no issues at all very solid made

The one I got had the brand etching half faded off with sratches on it. Makes me think was a used return item. Had a bad smell and even after a few washes gives the water a metallic taste. Sittting in the camp gear box in the shed I don;t use. Shame . Amazon seller was about $40 dollars cheaper than other websites but add said new. Maybe it was a second. Have brought other pathfinder gear and been happy with that.

Terrific little canteen and cup. Compact enough to carry around daily. A lid for the pot would be an excellent addition; may have to try and hammer one out of sheet metal. Very sturdy construction, no leaks. Great for in a cargo pocket or hunting bag.
