The media could not be loaded. This is a purchase I did not regret. Everyone on the internet seems to be raving about the OLED version of this gem, but they seem to be just specs fanboys. I wasn’t able to find a review for the HD LCD variant, but based on my research, I took the risk and I was not disappointed.DesignThis laptop is sexy as heck, with a matte finish and sleek design. It’s thin but very sturdy and classy. The backlit keys have a nice travel feel. And surprisingly this thing has facial recognition that works with or without my glasses. *SHOCKING* The HD screen is very bright and displays amazing colors. The trackpad is very large and nicely built. My only complaint is that this thing is a fingerprint magnet so not recommended for criminals, however, I get if you want something personalised then what is better than a laptop that carries around your DNA? If this computer lasts for a few years, it will go down as one of my best purchases.PerformanceAt first, the laptop ran a bit hot on the first boot, but after a BIOS update using the ASUS built-in apps, it was quite simple to fix. Afterward, the laptop was silent as a lamb while using, except for the beautiful sound of the keystrokes. The fan is extremely quiet and, even under heavy load, it’s manageable. The battery life is amazing for productivity and charges very quickly. The CPU and RAM handle any tasks thrown at it thus far. I will try to test it for gaming.RecommendationWorth investing in if you’re pursuing I.T., business, or MAC user or doing any form of video or photo editing

I wouldn’t wish this computer on my worst enemy. I’ve had issues with this computer since about six months after having it. It has constant startup issues and I’ve even had to reinstall the operating system less than a year after having it. Do not recommend.

My old Asus was 15 years old and getting cranky. It has run well but an upgrade was needed. The Asus Zen book 15 was the size I wanted and the Ryzen cpu runs 260% faster than my I7 3610. This model attracted me with 16 gb of ram and it's 512 gb storage. It's an absolute beauty. Runs effortlessly and without issues. The price is the deal maker and no one else is matching it. It arrived here in Japan in less than a week. Completely unopened in the sealed box. Setup easy. You could spend more for the oled screen but this screen looks incredible. Also speakers sound great for a laptop and movies run smoothly. I mostly use it for photo editing and it doesn't disappoint. Battery running about six and a half hours. A little warm under load. I didn't realize usb A is not included but the c ports are super fast and I'll adapt. No games on this one since my desktop handles those. I've wanted a Zenbook for years and Xmas came early with this one. Great seller. Great product.

Love the design, great screen and performance

Out of the box this computer will not come out of hibernation. I have to do a force power off every time it hibernates. Not what I was looking for in a new computer.Update:I tried to do what ASUS recommended on their website, but no luck. Then I called customer support and they were able to fix it quickly.I have not had an opportunity to use it much, but here is what I like so far.- Super fast start up.- Lite weight and thin.Hopefully the hibernation problem won't return.

I purchased this ASUS Zenbook for my son in late November of 2023 who primarily uses it to play Roblox and Minecraft. I decided to go with the ASUS because of the price, specifications (CPU, RAM and Graphics card) and the proven quality given that I own an ASUS Zenbook which I purchased in 2015 and I’m still using today with no issues. Overall, I’m very pleased with the laptop. Having the SSD and 16GB of RAM works well for the way in which it is used. The screen quality is excellent and it is light and thin. It has performed as expected with no issues. The only reason I did not give it a 5-star rating is because of how loud the fan is under load. In comparison to other laptops which I’ve owned and used, the fan is very loud even when the laptop is at 60% memory and 40% CPU utilization. The bottom also gets a bit hotter than I would like, but I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.
