It is super smooth on my face, neck, and chest and it provides really nice hydration overnight. You will only want to use this at night because it has retinol (vitamin A) in it. There has been a correlation to skin cancer if you go in the sun with retinol on your skin, so I am really care with products that contain this ingredient. SCENT There is no added perfume in this product, but it does has a slight scent of nuttiness, but many people will find that this is unscented. I have a pretty good sense of smell and there is absolutely no rancidity. INGREDIENTS I think the ingredients are very pure and fresh. It does contain a preservative which most face serum and creams contain. There are no parabens, but there is Phenoxyethanol which is safe to use and vital to keep away bacterias, yeasts, etc. Phenoxyethanol is fairly high on the ingredient list, so I am assuming in contains quite a bit of it. Usually I see it towards the end of the ingredient list. It is the 6th ingredient of 16 ingredients. THE CONSISTENCY The serum is a beautiful light yellow, fairly thick consistency. It goes on smoothly and not sticky to me. THE BOTTLE The bottle is glass with a dropper so the serum is kept uncontaminated and fresh. Love it!
