Bought this on a whim,and it's great.An easy way to measure your curry spices.A handy recipe booklet is included.

Bought for my student son who loves to cook. Very styley retro design. Very easy to follow recipes. Love my original Tala measure and this is ace. So useful.

bought as gift for my hubby. Looks good and should be easy to use as measurements etc well laid out.

Recipes that come in the tin are amazing, and the measurer really adds to the experience as it takes any faff out of what you are making. Literally the best curry I have ever made and I've tried a good few recipes.

Great idea and very well presented, but I'm a little confused over the measuring system. There are lines inside indicating where you need to fill each ingredient up to, but I'm not sure if you just put each ingredient on top of the previous, or empty out each time and fill up to the specified line. However, I bought this as a Christmas stocking filler, so hopefully the recipient will understand it better than me!

Having owned one of the original Thala measures for years (as did my mum before me) I was intrigued by this and thought it might be as useful as the original. It looks good and comes beautifully packaged in a matching tin with a (small) recipe book. I had assumed that the measure would be enough to follow the recipes. However, the recipe book refers to tablespoons and teaspoons of this and that ingredient and, taken together with the measure, I found the combination somewhat confusing.I don't think I will find it useful but it will make a fun present for some novice cook - I just need to think who to give it to.
