This stereo would be great if there was the customer support in place for it but there isn't. Had it installed by a professional and the seller keeps asking for pictures of the wiring but ignores the pictures of the wiring that has been previously sent. They're obviously based in China so you get a message a day which drives you mad meaning 2 weeks on and nothing is resolved so now I'm returning the device.It looked much better than my old stereo and the fitting was fairly simple as well.It says it's for the 07-08 Smax but would be better suited for the 10-14 mk1.5 Smax due to the piano black finish.The carplay on it was spot on, when it worked, so it makes driving safer and more enjoyable with messages, including WhatsApp, appearing on the screen.Word of warning though. Ignore the title, it doesn't have as much as it claims (4G and DAB capabilities) and the heater function likes to flash on and off randomly. You also can't connect to the WiFi properly so downloading other apps is impossible as is youtube or streaming even with the car parked and 5G signal. There's no GPS because you need to download it with WiFi, you can't download other apps because you need the play protect certification which this stereo hasn't got.I've tried to resolve the issues using their customer support but they're less than useless meaning I will keep removing stars for every 2nd day they don't resolve my issue until I get to the stage of returning the unit because only a few functions work and the instructions are dreadful!!!!
