Wrong motherboard
Wrong motherboard. This is for model 43s435 not for 43s431. Motherboard burnt smell. Change the power supply. Fixed chronic problem.
The TCL TV had no picture but some sound. I bought this package with all the innerds. Then I watched You Tube. They said that it was a power panel problem. A diode, maybe 5 cent. Anyway I replaced it and got the picture back. $45 is better than $175 for the set. But the power panel is $25. Lesson learned.
