Excellent quality finished product from Vanson as usual.

Good quality, brass outer on plastic core
thick brass on plastic core not a plastic with brass coloured finish. Good heavy feel to the knobs but some question of durability of star shaft if knobs removed repeatedly - they work loose (putting a nylon wedge in the split star shaft is a fix).
