good product, but the one I got had an issue with the button, it was not returning I think a spring had been missed. I contacted the seller they sent me a new button next day and all is well.

I bought this because it had option on 2 in and 1 and 1/2 in waste outlet base. Mine is 2in.The Nison one fitted to my new installation only lasted 2 years and the Viva is to replace it. My old syphon flush before that lasted 40 years before it needed replacing so much for progress.The niggle is you have to keep finger on button to get full flush. I think it may be slightly faulty in that respect. As it is in a built in concealed cistern affair its not easy to get to.Update bought another but exactly the same have to keep finger on for full flush. But will keep as spare as 2in waste don't seem easy to come by. If first one fails I can just plug the other in!

This replaced an expensive electronic eco flushing system which couldn't be repaired. A new one of a similar type was going to cost over £200!This plastic, in cistern, unit works well, each easy to adjust the water flow and had the added advantage that it has an integrated overflow system. Rather than needing an extra overflow pipe connected to the cistern, any overflow goes down the inside of the fitting and into the toilet basin.An excellent replacement with a relatively long connection between the flush and the flush button. It does 'squeek' a little each time the flush button is pressed, but apart from that is a great unit and saved £180!!!

I bought this as a replacement for a small 6L concealed cistern in which the flush valve had stopped working. The description seemed to match what I needed and having the option of the 2” flush pipe connector was ideal. My optimism was short-lived though. Firstly, this doesn’t not come with a flush-pipe nut - it doesn’t seem to be a standard size either. Viva were very good about it and shipped one in 1-2 days for free after I contacted them. The nut itself was quite tall meaning it needs to be well-above the L-bend of the flush pipe, and therefore installing this flush unit on a cistern which is higher up the wall than mine is would be easier. Finally having got all that installed, the valve doesn’t seal properly as it doesn’t meet the housing ‘flush’ (excuse the pun) and I’m back to square one with water leaking through into the bowl. Another issue is the button has to be held down for the short flush, regardless of the position of the flush-adjuster. Having spent days tinkering with it with no success, I cannot recommend this product. It might be that mine was a dud but in that case perhaps Viva’s product quality control needs to be looked at? P.S. The system refill I bought from Viva was a breeze to install and works really well.

This was a replacement for a push button air operated system, which had ceased to work properly due to the deterioration of the push button plunger seals. As a cable operated system the SKYLO should not suffer that problem. Eventhough the cable is classified as long it was still a JUST long enough another 20/30 mm would have been better.

I bought this unit to replace an unserviceable one and found fitting very easy - until I too discovered that my existing flush pipe compression nut (for the 2" fitting) was a different thread to that on the unit supplied. The new unit is a much finer thread. On contacting the manufacturer (Viva Sanitary), the technical staff were not readily available so the individual that I spoke to immediately sent me a complete hidden cistern unit (as he knew that the part required was in that kit), which arrived before lunch the next day.I would have been happy with just the compression nut, but the Company's willingness to make sure that they had a satisfied customer is most impressive. Well done Viva Sanitary and especially well done to the man on the phone during the afternoon of 12 Jun 19. Thank you.
