Very easy to install and works well. Switch glows in the dark is a bonus and can be seen the length of our garage (50+ feet).

A 74-yr old widow, I installed this switch very easily. Disregard all those NEGATIVE Reviews ! But, NOT Paying Attention - I installed it upside down. Slot for wire is SUPPOSED to go on the bottom ! Customer error. Not serious enough to correct my mistake. Works fine. EZ to install. Separate word of warning: the garage door opener moves slightly every time the Opener operates. Over time . . . . Check to make sure an original Switch is correctly wired at the business end - on the actual Opener Motor. Over Time, the wiring, FROM the New Switch, became detached from the Genie opener motor. So it still didn't open/close the Garage Door. Climbed up ladder to re-attach the wiring. Maybe the original switch didn't really need to be replaced, but it is 36 yrs old and the plastic on the original switch crumbled when I removed it. Just as well - this brand new Universal Garage Door Opener Switch now is lighted and instantly visible in the dark! THANK YOU! Excellent Product!
