You need to know that I bought this on a whim, having never used modeling clay before - outside of playdough, so take my comments with a grain of salt.It comes in a big block and there is quite a lot of it...should make a LOT of creatures or whatever you need. It says it does not dry out. Well, it came encased in plastic but not sealed and there were no dry bits. That's as much as I can tell at the moment. I need to find something to keep it in, because you have to rip the plastic apart to get it out, and it's one of those things anyway, that once you release it, it will not be returning to the same exact space. I suppose that even wrapping it in a piece of plastic wrap would work.As for modeling, I was able to pull off a chunk without too much effort. A knife would likely help. I'm not sure it would be as easy in 10-15 years, but only because I'm getting older and it was not "easy" even now. After manipulating it in my hands, it was easy enough to model a few items (like the bone structure of animal legs). It sticks well to itself, so pulling it apart and putting it back on itself was not an issue. It does leave a thin film of residue where it touches, so don't roll any out on your grandmother's Cherry dining table!

I got this one to try out because the kind I like is no longer made and I didn’t know because I took a 10 year break from sculpting. This one isn’t my favorite and I guess I’m still on a search for a good one.

The clay is easy to shape and holds form well.Installation/setup: Use to make sculptures, mold then reuse.Final thoughts: I got this to make small sculptures that I then mold with silicone to fill with resin. The clay is easy to use and it’s easy to use sculpting tools to add detail. The items I make are flat-ish and I use clear or colored resin to fill the voids left by the clay. I like the way this clay can be reused over and over without drying out or getting hard. I make fake stained glass and embed the resin figures in it. This clay lets me make different figures, then pull out the clay and reform it into something else, again and again. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Big ol block of white modeling clay. Doesn't dry out or leave a chalky residue on my hands. This is great for playing around and modeling in 3d sculptung ideas.

very nice fine sculpting clay. I was impressed with its plasticity and firmness at cooler temperatures but in a warm studio, it is a little too soft and infirm for large free-flowing, or overhanging work.
