I don’t give a lot of 5 star reviews—5 star to me means that the characters were well developed and diverse, there was a good and fulfilled plot and I would buy this book, read it over and over and never get sick of it because that is how much I love it.I feel like many books I’ve read the FMC is petite, “curves all in the right places”, and quirky. Stevie is more curvy than anything and she’s strong, bold, giving and smart. I absolutely loved that she was not written to be like other main characters and her diversity is not only included but celebrated.I loved this book and Liz has a great writing style. The characters were perfect.

Why hello there new favorite sports romance series!!!This kicked this sports series off with a bang! I'm so insanely happy to have found yet another sports romance series that just consumes me. These characters were AMAZING. I had heard lots of amazing things about this book and it totally lived up to the hype!I LOVE myself a hockey romance and this was just so good!!! I adored these characters and their story. The flight attendant plot was SO fun and unique and I've never read a book with that plot and now I know I adore it.The tension between Stevie and Zee was off the charts! You could feel it from their very first interaction and that spark never died out through the whole book. Not to mention the spice in this book was A++++++. SO GOOD.Stevie dealing with body insecurities spoke directly to me. I felt so seen with the way she viewed herself and how it affected her on a daily basis. The way Zee handled it though? Pure perfection. I adored him for the way he cared for her and took care of her and never got impatient with Stevie's feelings about herself. He just worked as hard as he could to make sure she knew he thought she was beautiful and desirable and so loved. I LOVE HIM.Liz Tomforde just has such an incredible writing style. It's fun, engaging, beautiful, and I adored it all. I loved that this book had so many parts to it. There was obviously the romance between Stevie and Zee, but they each had such depth to their personalities and character. The side characters were EVERYTHING. There was so much more going on than just the romance and I loved it all. It was written out like it could easily be a movie and it easily played like one in my head while I read.Back to those side characters... I have a feeling Indy and Ryan's book is going to RUIN me. And be a new favorite... I just have this big hunch and my gut rarely fails me when it comes to reading lol.Overall, this book was so fun to read and I loved it. I absolutely can't wait to read the next one and I can't wait for more books in this series because there's so many side characters I could see having a book and I want them all!!! Lol. Such a great start to a new favorite series!

But I’ll say once you hit like the 25-30% mark you won’t be able to put it down. Also, the banter…😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 sooo perfect, just right and not overly dramatic!Give it a go if you’re into:✈️ pro hockey player + flight attendant✈️ bad boy vibes✈️ guy falls first✈️ forbidden romance✈️ down-to-earth, curvy FMC✈️ the angsttttt ugh 🫣😮‍💨🔥✈️ mental health representationThis was so much for than a good sports romance story! I loved the tension, the authentic characters that had real-life problems and had to work through their own struggles. Zander’s was my cup of tea ☕️ Also, shoutout to the author for giving us a story with amazing body positivity!!! Love to see it.I plan to read the next in the series next month and I’ve seen amazing things about that one too. It’s Ryan and Indy’s story who were both awesome side characters in this one! 💙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Não tenho palavras suficientes para descrever a história desse livro e a minha experiência com ele, a tempos que eu não lia um livro com personagens com tanta personalidade, que te faz amar eles e se apegar logo nas primeiras páginas, a Liz com certeza entrou para uma das minhas autoras favoritas.Não é apenas uma história de romance de hóquei clichê, a autora fala sobre saúde mental, amor próprio, problemas familiares e body positivity (você amar seu corpo da forma que é) e isso pra mim foi maravilhoso e necessário, amo quando a autora fala sobre assuntos que precisamos muito hoje em dia, mais do que nunca, fora que aqui não tem como você não amar o Zanders e se apaixonar por ele pois ele parece um amigo que você teve toda a sua vida e não conhecia, ele ajudando a Stevie nas suas inseguranças pessoais foi uma das coisas mais lindas que eu já li e irei deixar alguns momentos que para mim foram dignos de muito mais que 5 estrelas.A Stevie também foi uma mocinha fofa e forte e cheia de atitude.Senti que depois de 400 páginas a autora se perdeu um pouquinho no drama que ela tava desenvolvendo, então parecia que ela só tava acrescentando capítulos, mas nada que incomodou e mesmo assim, amei.Alguns quotes:"Você não precisa amar seu corpo todo os dias. Isso é algo irreal de se esperar, mas eu vou estar aqui amando ele todos os dias que você não fizer""Mas com a Stevie, eu me sinto atraído pelo seu corpo, mente, boca e coração.""Eu não te vejo do jeito que você vê a si mesma. Eu acho que você é boa, fofa e engraçada e linda pra caramba, Vee."

5 MILLION ⭐️’S!!!!The love I have for this book is bordering on obsession!Stevie is officially my favourite heroine! As someone who is a black plus size women, she was authenticity vulnerable and relatable. Her personality was top tier and I have never loved a leading lady more.Zander’s is also officially my favourite leading man.His emotional awareness that intertwined with his vulnerability. His confidence, matched with his sweet heart! I can’t l! HE. IS. EVERYTHING! And the fact that he was so passionate of an advocate for mental health in youth!Also, I just have to say that I was so in love with with Zander’s and Maddison’s bromance. The brotherly love they have for one another was so pure and deep. We love men who are secure in their emotions and masculinity to cry with one another.The representation/diversity, rawness of emotion, spice and overall humour… has made this book irreplaceable for me. Plus all of the side characters, are so unbelievably loveable that they don’t feel like side characters!It is officially in my top 5 books of all time.Thank you Liz for this masterpiece that will forever live rent free in my heart and mind!I LOVE IT SM! Ich will mich kurz halten - lies dieses Buch, wenn du gesunde Dynamiken in Beziehung magst, erotische heiße Szenen genießt und keine Lust auf unnötiges Drama hast.Diese Rezension trifft auf alle Bücher dieser Reihe zu. Ich habe sie drei Bücher verschlungen und genieße es sehr, endlich Mal über gesunde Beziehungen zu lesen. Klar, es gibt auch Probleme, aber diese Probleme sind realistisch und werden auch realistisch geklärt (also abgesehen davon, dass die Protagonisten alle stinkreich sind - aber das ist ja auch Sinn der Sache).Neben Elsie Silver und Becka Mack ist Liz Tomforde definitiv eine Autorin, von der ich mehr lesen werde.

Primer libro que leo de la autora y me ha encantado. Los personajes que ha creado, la evolución que tienen y sobretodo la relación de los personajes. Estoy cansada de ver poco desarrollo amoroso en los libros y este me ha dado todo lo que buscaba.

Niente di questo libro è fuori posto.Dalla conoscenza al finale, tutto è esattamente come dovrebbe essere; il drama non è stato eccessivo ma è stato giusto.Zee e Vee mi sono piaciuti moltissimo come coppia, si comprendono e si aiutano a vicenda; si completano. Le battutine reciproche, i momenti di sconforto e l'amicizia tra i personaggi sono stati fenomenali.
