WOLF Garten Anvil Loppers RS 650 Power Failure

I was in the market for what I want to be my last pair of garden loppers.I needed them to be robust,well made, and well designed.I began by searching reviews to narrow the field. I didn’t want telescopic handles and I prefer the anvil type.The Wolfgarten RS 650 kept cropping up in many reviews,so I popped out to a local garden centre to handle a pair and have a closer look.I was impressed by all aspects (except price),but only buying a set would confirm my impressions.So,to Amazon to see what was what.Wow,very competitive pricing,sadly not available on Prime,but a 5 Star UK company was offering 4 days delivery,so I pulled the trigger.As promised they arrived on time,very well packaged and looking great.Next day I was in the garden looking to prune a number of shrubs & remove some dead branches from an old Cherry tree.To say I was impressed would be under selling these loppers.Effortless on anything up to 30/35 mm,making me feel confident they could tackle a little more should I need them to.Lovely,slim head for better access in those multi stemmed shrubs.Comfortable soft feel handle grips.Not too heavy or long to become tiring or unwieldy.To sum up,these loppers are everything I hoped for and give me confidence that they probably will be my last ever pair.

You can pay a lot more for the same thing but the wolf kit is excellent

I really love these loppers. Bought to replace my previous ones, getting on for 40 years old. Even on full extension they feel light and easy to use. I had previousy thought the telescopic function a bit of a gimic with other garden tools, either difficult to adjust or a loose fit when fully extended. Not the case here; really easy to adjust and when locked in place the handles feel like they are each made from a single piece. Extension is great for overhead work, and also for ground level without bending down. Used today for thinning out an overgrown reose bush. I couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommended.

These are nicely made (in Germany) but they are pretty heavy with the chunky mechanism at the end of long handles - even on the shortest setting. I am no wimp but these are pretty hard on the wrists and shoulders if you are using them at head height for a while. My long serving Rolcut anvil loppers were much lighter and nearly as capable. That said, these feel like they will cut through pretty much any branch and will work for years and years to come.

Wolf tools are always worth a look. Well made and long lasting (if you look after them properly) they offer years of good service. These anvil loppers can cope with branches at the stage before you need to get the saw out. Highly recommended.

Quality build, light weight and extremely good at cutting branches up to about 3/4 inch. Handle length is about right so as to get maximum torque on cutting. Overall, good price for a quality item, very glad i chose this item.

Ansonsten sieht sie halt wie eine Astschere aus, sie hat jetzt kein tolles Design, ganz normal. °°Funktion Wir mussten im Garten einige Äst schneiden nachdem wir eingezogen waren, weil wir es lieber etwas offener haben wollten. Deshalb hat die Astschere wirklich einen Härtetest am Anfang abbekommen und sie hat ihn mit Bravur gemeistert. Sie schneidet kleinere Äste wie Butter durch, aber auch dickere Äste schafft sie gut. Vom Hersteller wird ja 25-50 mm Durchmesser angegeben, aber ich muss zugeben das ich öfters zu faul bin die Säge raus zu holen und auch größere Dicken durchgeschnitten habe. Natürlich ist der Kraftaufwand dann größer und bei ganz dicken Ästen muss man auch mal öfters ansetzten, aber sie schafft es! Ich würde mal schätzen das man mit viel Kraft so 80-90 mm schafft. Die Schere ist eine Ambossschere, d.h. sie hat nur auf einer Seite eine Schnittfläche und auf der andere Seite ist ein Amboss auf welchen der Ast aufliegt, dadurch soll der geringe Kraftaufwand möglich sein. Im Vergleich zu anderen Astscheren ist sie wirklich sehr gut und schneidet einfacher, selbst ich als Frau habe keine Probleme den Kraftaufwand zu meistern. Ich kann allerdings nicht mehr sagen ob die anderen Astscheren welche ich benutzt habe auch eine Ambosstechnik hatten. Die Schnittfläche nach entfernen des Astes ist auch sehr gut und glatt, ein sehr zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis. Die Griffe sind ergonomisch und etwas weicher, dadurch liegen sie angenehm in der Hand (bei Mann und Frau). °°Reinigung Die Reinigung geht schnell von der Hand da alle Teile gut zugänglich sind, ich reinige sie einfach mit einem feuchten Tuch und mache sie danach gut trocken (um Rost zu vermeiden). °°Verarbeitung&Material Die Verarbeitung ist sehr hochwertig für diesen Preis. Sie ist sehr stabil und hat trotz Härtetest noch keine Mängel. Auch die Klinge ist immer noch scharf, ich musste noch nichts nachschleifen. Zum nachschleifen lässt sich die Klinge aber gut raus nehmen. Der Hersteller gibt sogar 10 Jahre Garantie laut der Beschreibung, das finde ich klasse. Solange Garantie geben Hersteller doch eigentlich nur wenn sie ein tolles Produkt haben und nicht viele Reklamationen bekommen. Klasse! Wir haben Sie jetzt mittlerweile seit 2 Jahren regelmäßig im Gebrauch, wenn sich bei der Abnutzung was ändert gibt es natürlich ein Update! >>Fazit Eine sehr stabile Astschere, die uns sehr hilft und auch nach dem Härtetest super funktioniert. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Büyük bir beklenti ile satin aldim ancak incecik dallari bile kesmekte zorlandi. Ilk ve kisa bir kullanimdan sonra bicagi asindi. Ikinci seferde bicak gevsedi herhalde ki kesemedi bile. Bu fiyatta ve wolf marka bir üründe böyle bir durum kabul edilemez. Iade ettim. Almadan yurtdisi sitelerdeki yorumlara bakmamistim. Ürün icin olumsuz yorumlar cok. Bir daha da wolf-garten almam.

Excellent product. Just used it on a lot of dry and thick branches. Went through them effortlessly. Very good telescopic handles. Easy to operate. Highly recommended.
