I used it for a children's carnival that we were putting on. It was pretty amazing and lasted all day without smearing up! I'd definitively buy again & have already suggested it to others.

better paint over the cheap face paint, good for practice and fun, if you want to do it professionally stick to the better brands.

This face paint kit is not professional grade. There are indeed plenty of colors, when you take into account that most of the colors are banded together. However, they do not really 'activate' well with water, and result in a less than vibrant effect. If you use too much water, you just get a watered down blur of colors. To achieve vibrancy you'd have to really layer things on. Your money is better spent on better quality face paints.

Definitely not a professional kit but still super fun! Looks just as pictured and everything came with the kit that you are in the pictures. Love all the colors, could be used for many different events. Using the stencils are a bit tricky but maybe with enough practice they could look good. Otherwise I just use the paints as is.

This is a decent face painting kit. The color is good and shows up fairly well on skin. My kids had fun playing around with this and using the stencils. It washes off very easily and the paint doesn't irritate their skin.

My kids love playing with this, the color payoff is perfect, self drying, last a long time, easy to remove with soap and water.

This review is for the Bowitzki 15 Colors x 10gm Professional Face Painting Kit. I read through some of the other reviews. One mentioned that the paints didn't have individual covers. Mind did, but I actually find that annoying. Someone else said they were missing a sponge. Mine seemed to have all the sponges, but there isn't a slot for storing them in the kit. There was a small variety of stencils and brushes included as well. I don't understand the point of the cakes that have several different colors. I find that to be annoying, but I'm new to face painting. I was glad this had some bigger cakes of individual colors. Overall a decent kit, but not the best design. Currently priced at $30, though, I'm not sure the value is there. I've gotten other kits that looked better and included more at a better value. I'd agree with another reviewer as well that this shouldn't be called a professional kit when there's not even a slot for the sponges.

I ordered this Bowitzki Professional Face Painting Kit because of the many different blended color cakes. This last year I learned how to make some amazing face painting such as rainbow unicorns, batman etc, and those call for these multi colored cakes. This new set makes the patterns and affects I can do even more varied. This kit also comes with stencils, paint brushes, and sponges to apply the paints. A really great kit for those doing face painting parties and other events.

This kit is a total blast.It comes with a variety of colours and handy stencils. It's perfect for parties or just getting creative. The paints are non-toxic and easy to apply, making it great for kids and adults alike.The rainbow and dolphin designs are my personal favourites!

Purchased for my Grand-daughter who is artistically talented....wow....she loves these paints....easy to use, clean and beautiful colours when applied on the skin.....so thankful for making us so happy....

The split paint cakes are a fun idea - you can use one colour, or both at the same time for a really unique look. Love the stencils though. They're game changers. Not all of us are blessed enough to free-hand art on such a bumpy, uneven canvas! But the stencils help the artistically challenged achieve recognizable shapes and put together something to be proud of. Great for beginners, but a nice set for anyone who wants to experiment.
