Candy Quick Pro Washing Machine, 9kg, White, A-20%, 1400 RPM

I absolutely love this washing machine. It is by far the best thing I have bought. It is very quiet. The settings have a clear timer so you know when the spin is going to stop. There are loads of settings on it. It is really efficient and spins perfectly every time. Delivery was really good and they helped me get it into my house. If you need a washing machine, I highly reccomend this one. The drum is massive. I am updating this review, my original review is up top, I have now added photo's and a video. I wanted to upload a video through different stages of washing to show how quiet it is, but decided to upload the loudest one. The video uploaded is literally the loudest this machine goes and that is because I haven't levelled it, though I suppose it does depend on how loud you turn up the volume when playing the video on here. My airfryer is louder than the washing machine. It is seriously quiet even when it's bumping around. I am still in love with this machine and still so surprised at how quiet it is. I can put a wash on overnight and I have not recieved any complaints from neighbours or family members running it at night. It washes clothes really well. The spin on it at the end does depend on how much you throw into it, sometimes it can come out a little on the wetter side. I am sure theres a setting for just a spin to get more liquid out if needed. There's so many options, but they're clearly labelled and the timer is easy to see, accurate and it's just so nice to see an actual timer. There is no dryer option on this machine, but I am not fussed about it anyway. It is just a washing machine. There is a steam refresh option which takes like max 10 mins if you just want to freshen up an item. I like the fact that I can pause a wash any time. My old washer never gave me this option and was stuck until it stopped. If I have realised I have put it on the wrong setting or need it to pause, I can and I can switch to a different setting even if it started another. The drum is sturdy, I can fit loads in. The door closes perfectly and opens without issue. No issues with draining and easy access to the filter if needed. This is honestly the best thing I have ever bought. It's so cheap for the quality and design that has gone into it. If I ever needed to buy another, I would not hesitate to buy this one again.

Im still trying to work out why is this so cheap as it has all the latest bits and pieces steam cycle, timer and all the other programs, a 1.41hr 40° jean cycle cost £0.12p 😯 and it's so quiet it doesn't sound like it's on most of the time, it was nice at easy to install and it has that new washing machine look, so far I'm very impressed 👍🏼

Quiet machine. Easy to use. Filter is the usual place with its own mini drain hose. Very mild movement if levelled correctly. Lovely quick wash , steam wash , spin speed is changeable on various washes. Hose length standard. Drum seal is black so won't show oil/ grease. Door lock releases when cycle/ drum stopped. Nice wide drum. Delivery men were great. Happy with purchase. No problem with heavy loads .

I bought this Candy washing machine to replace my 12 years old Bosch because I would have had to buy a new drum to replace the bearings. I think the Candy is good value for money and am generally happy with, especially for its noise level. I have only a few minor issues - nothing serious, but they make me miss the old Bosch a bit: 1. the timer seems to be programmable only up to 3 hours in advance, which means I need to set it after 9pm to be able to use in Economy 7 2. washing generally comes out more wet than the Bosch, especially towels. The spin and drain cycle does not make much difference, which means it's probably not going up to 1400 rpm as advertised (my Bosch was advertised for 1200 rpm and drained much more water from towels) 3. the front rubber seal is black, which means I have no idea if it's developing mould ad where to clean it. Of course I could see that from the images, but I did not think about this at time of purchase

This washer is fantastic !!!! Very easy to understand programmes that I can adjust to suit my needs. The quick wash and steam re-fresh are excellent. Each programme has time duration next to it - ranging from 14 mins upwards, these times can be adjusted by changing the temperature and spin speed if you require. Very quiet and efficient. My washing comes out clean and soft. The difference is amazing when compared to my previous expensive, choice restricting and slow washing machine that only lasted 3 years. Would definately recommended this washer as it does exactly what is promised, and at a fantastic price.

To save readers time, there's nothing functionally wrong with the machine. It washes clothes well and it's reasonably priced, for those aspects, it's 5 star, go for it. Positives: relatively cheap, noise level is excellent, capacity is great, plays a little tune when you turn it on (sadly no ending tune but it does at least beep). Brownie points for it beeping at the end and the door immediately being unlocked, not claiming to be finished then keeping the door locked like some machines. The issues I have are mainly related to features every other machine I've owned or used in my life tend to have, but this Candy for some reason doesn't. The big one for me is not being able to alter settings once the wash cycle has started. Any other machine I've had you could change the temp, spin, etc after it started, so long as it wasn't up to a point in the wash where it physically couldn't. You can't do that with this Candy. If you notice your washing is particularly soapy and want to bypass your spin to do another rinse instead? Forget it. Second big issue for me is the display and settings. They are unnecessarily confusing, and this is coming from a person with two Masters degrees in computer science; the machine did not need to be this convoluted. You have to press buttons to display the temperature, spin and rinse settings, all separately, and none show on screen together at once. Why? Again, never had a washing machine that didn't have clear icons to indicate the (fairly important) washing information taking place. The manual is in part very "ingrish" so trying to understand what the additional settings do is not as straightforward as it should be. Having to consult the manual to figure out how to add a second rinse is very poor UX design. The soap drawer has a very odd flap that needs to be lifted up or left down depending on whether powder or liquid is used. I found regardless of whether the right format was used, leaving the flap down meant soap built up in the drawer. The manual as mentioned has a lot of translation and grammatical errors, making it difficult to follow in places as well as generally being overly complicated. It's not especially easy to get a quick reference as to which settings have which speeds/temps. Lastly, the rinse function takes an inexplicable 26 minutes?! Honestly baffled by this, you can't shorten or alter it either. It's literally quicker to put it back on a fast wash on cold water than to use the built in rinse cycle. Absurd. Even my 10+ year old 7kg Beko took around 9 minutes to do a rinse. So all in all, it washes the clothes just fine, it's just got a lot of bizarre and at times irritating design choices.
