Great hiking poles at a great price. Comfortable cork grips and easy to properly size!

I recently had the opportunity to use these when I got my truck stuck a half mile up the driveway in the snow. I didn't have them in the truck initially so I had to hike home without support in a single track in deep wet snow, it was slippery. The next day I went back with my tractor and brought these, and ended up piggy backing up the driveway between the truck and tractor using these, and they were a lifesaver. I ended up covering a few miles in tractor and truck tracks back and forth. I'm 6'9" and 270lbs, and they were both tall enough and strong enough for me to feel secure.

I’ve never used trekking poles, but I always seem to pick up a “walking stick” along the trail so I figured I’d give them a shot, then I got a small backpacking tent that uses a trekking pole to set up so that was the excuse I needed. I got these for the low price (in case I ended up hating them), the cork grip (instead of a rubber one) and the clamp system instead of a twist-lock. I’ve used these on a <10 mi overnight trip, so this review may update after a few more miles, but so far they’re everything I needed them to be. Super lightweight (can’t feel them on your pack or in your hand) and very sturdy! Once you adjust the length and snap the clamps down, they DO NOT budge. I like the cork grips, no matter how wet it is or how much you sweat they never get slippery or rub against your thumb (which I was worried about). My only complaint was with the wrist straps, they were starting to rub on the back of my hand a bit by the end of day 2, but I’m thinking that will subside once they get broken in a bit more.I’m really happy with these and I’m sure I’ll get lots of use out of them in the future, and most importantly for me, they work perfectly with my tent! Well worth the price.

Writing this review a day after receiving the poles. They are light, the cork handles are comfy, and I was able to disassemble them to fit on a small suitcase (didn't fit when completely collapsed). The snap on-off collars are easy to use and the poles' adjustment is very intuitive.Will update this review after actual hiking use but as of now these are great.

The KINGGEAR Walking Sticks - Adjustable Hiking Poles are a good item for walking with. They are not too heavy but sturdy enough to lean on. The adjustability is nice for different heights of people to use. Also, they can be shortened enough to fit in luggage or stash in the car without taking up a lot of space. Storage bag very useful. It comes with an assortment of tips. But different walking sticks have varying connections for their tips so it would be nice if there was a second set round tip available for the particular stick to replace the rubber tips as needed.

I have a balance problem and these poles help keep me upright when walking

Estos bastones los uso para hacer marcha nórdica y tengo que decir que son robustos, aunque ligeros. Me encanta la facilidad de uso del mecanismo para ajustar la altura de los dos segmentos. Las correas de sujeción a la muñeca son muy cómodas porque están acolchadas. Y los mangos son de corcho, muy cómodos de sujetar.

Todavía no he podido utilizarlos,pero tiene pero en apariencia un buen diseño con aspecto robusto y muy manejable además de venir con un kit muy completo.Estoy deseando probarlos.Muy fáciles de hacerlos extensibles y recogerlos con rapidez.Creo que he hecho una buena compra,aunque haya pagado algo más de lo que se pueden adquirir otros bastones de similares caracteristicas,me decicí por estos.

Buenos bastones. Se les ve robustos. Viene con bastantes accesorios y conteras de repuesto. Funda de transporte. Las dragoneras son super cómodas y acolchadas. El mango de corcho calidad.Por contra, quizás les sobra algúnos gramos.. hay bastones de aluminio 7075 más ligeros por el precio (decathl0n). Las estrías del mango son bastante ásperas y llegan a molestar , tuve que rebajarlas con una lija fina.Por lo demás , bien , son bastante robustos y fiables. Hice el camino de Santiago con ellos sin problema.Lo mejor: duros, fiables, todoterreno, accesorios . Las dragoneras son buenas y cómodas.Lo peor: algo pesados para ser 7075. Cierres de tramos de plástico. Estrías de la Empuñadura muy aspera

Mre gusta mucho y de momento són muy fiables, para excursiones de montaña

Buena postura en la mano y fácil de reglarse . Apretar muy fuerte la manillas metálicas con una pinza si necesario.
