Beautiful record player! Matches my aesthetic perfectly. I wanted a record player for the longest time. Purchased a refurbished one as the price was really good. When it arrived, you would have thought it was brand new. No signs of use at all. I bought this to play old record for nostalgia. Sound quality is perfect for me and what I wanted from the player. If I wanted high def, I have access to streaming services but it was never about that for me. Having said that, my untrained ear hears nothing wrong with the quality of the sound. It’s very simple to use although I haven’t tried anything other than playing records. I don’t require the Bluetooth connectivity function. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend 👍

Fabulous item - sound is good (not amazing) but acceptable for a small BT device & will connect via BT to an external speaker (we have a Bose one) & this improves the sound quality. Bought for a gift looks and sounds great .

Very pleased with this, especially after reading some very negative comments regarding sound quality. We are of the generation that had very high spec turntables with excellent sound quality- still in the loft here. I wondered how we would like this but we are very happy. The portability of it is great and I live it’s comoact size.Very nostalgic as I remember playing records on my father’s old record player. I nearly didn’t order because of the poor reviews- lesson learnt!

This was a gift for my teenage daughter, who wanted to be able to play some of our old vinyl. 30 years ago, you would be able to get a brilliant mid range record player quite cheaply. That market really does not exist anymore, so to get anything that produces great sound you really need to spend a lot of money. Unsurprisingly the sound quality is quite poor, but it does what is say on the tin. This model has Bluetooth in and out, which is why it’s a little more expensive than some other models. That said, it looks great, is nice and compact when not being used. In addition my daughter is getting great pleasure in learning about static and dust, level surfaces, and balancing the needle, - which was a right of passage for those of us of a certain age! If they could only put a better amplifier and speaker in it would be perfect. But then again, you can’t seem to get that in a tv without buying external kit, so I don’t think you can expect much more here.

Build quality is good but sound is tinny and poor

Gorgeous record player but unfortunately the strange tinny background sound was too intrusive for my daughter to use it.

Definitely worried about this after reading other reviews. But it was returnable so I took a chance. I’m totally happy with this player! The sound is decent, the structure is sturdy and the design is excellent. Overall a decent player for the under $100 mark.
