Very unexciting material and presented in a style that is more suitable for a student than a traveller. Shame as could be so much more interesting.

Lots of really good language settings covered and most sentences could be used in various Japanese settings. The language is general use polite form and so useful for the tourist visitor dealing with formal situations although there are sections on small talk and dating .The sentences in Japanese include kanji and kana for the more advanced learners while underneath each sentence the guide to pronunciation is clear and easy to follow for the beginner.

This should make it easier for travelling through Japan
