I contacted infinity's tech support prior to purchase to check on whether settings are retained after a power outage and they confirmed immediately on their chat that they were. It’s a real breath of fresh air to receive a premium designed and beautifully made product at a great price (check how expensive these have been at desertcart in the past with a price checker), so much so I found myself looking round the house to find other opportunities to install them. Would these work?** A: Yes this should work, if necessary you can change the fitting for intake or extraction. Used on my home cinema rack, good quality. **Q: Can the s3 be paired up with a t3 and if so will it be automated just like the t3. thanks.** A: Yes it does pair I have 1 t3 and 3 s3's all running off the controller **Q: Does this have a USB power supply? I'd like to run it straight off a spare USB socket....** A: I think so - We bought several slightly different models, so not 100%. The alternative is, if connecting to a PC, some have the facility to leave the USB ports powered for charging accessories. **Q: Can the fan unit be 'easily' reassembled to change the fan direction from exhaust to intake?** A: Difficult to conclusively say. There are screws on the reverse/back of the fan case so I guess you could get inside to either physically reverse it, or poss. electrically? With a bit of thought and a plate to cover the exterior, depending on your layout, with long screws you could presumably just mount it back to front. The cupboard was getting very warm prior to installing the S7s but now it is always nice and cool. Very easy to fit and extremely quiet.
