One of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to put the kettle on it's base - that has not been not my experience. This kettle works exactly as other similar ones, you just set it over the base and it goes right on easily and with zero problems.One thing that is not too important (for me at least) but FYI - it is not an infinite selection of temperatures. The rotating dial might lead you to think this... The options are (in F°): 104°, 113°, 122°, 131°, 140°, 149°, 158°, 167°, 176°, 185°, 194°, 203°, 212° (using the dial) or 195°, 200°, and 205° using the preset temp button.In practice, here is how I use it: Press power on and the set temperature is always at the default 212°. Press the preset button and then turn the knob to select between 195°, 200°, or 205°. After you have selected one of these three preset temperatures, that is the default preset the next time and every time thereafter that you push this button unless you change it. So, after you have picked your preset temperature, you can just hit power on, hit preset once, then power again to start the kettle and away you go.Cool having the base show both the current temp and the set temp displayed at the same time so you can see status at a glance. There is also a little completion bar along the bottom that grows as it gets closer to full temp.Copper color / buttons are a bit bright/shiny but that is pure personal preference. The lid is plastic (the rest of the kettle is metal except for the handle for insulation) but it looks the same as the kettle and doesn't touch the water other than some condensation so having a plastic lid is definitely not an issue for me.Highly recommend if you are looking for a gooseneck kettle. I Love this cute tea pot! It's simple, made well, lights up so pretty when plugged in and heats up quick. I like that it's clear. I can see how much water I need and clean it easily. Great purchase and price was so reasonable.

Works as expected! It’s easy to use and heats up water surprisingly fast. It’s time effective and you can make about 3 cups of coffee with a full kettle. It also has a nice modern look to itButtons feel a little cheap. The knobs are stiff in some areas but smooth in others. Be careful with the body because it gets very hot and does not have protection to the outside. Keep away from children because they will burn themselves

First, although the info on the electric kettle doesn't make it clear, there are multiple heat settings accessible from the multi-function on/off/timer button. This makes it convenient for my wife as different types of tea she drinks steep best at different temperatures. You can also choose to use boiling water or not-quite-boiling water for brewing coffee.We've used this kettle for multiple weeks and have found it convenient and fast. Its dark anodized surface does not show fingerprints or water spots.On first setup the kettle appears not to settle on the base, but after filling the kettle with water it sits very solidly on the base, even with only a cup of water left in it.

Simple design and very fast heating. It is easy to clean and takes up very little space on my kitchen counter. I love the automatic turn off and cool blue light.

This has been an absolute life saver for us. When making tea, ramen, or anything else we need boiling water for, this makes it so much easier. I've used it many times and well worth the money spent. Its easy to use a bottled water and plug it in. Only tales a few minutes to get it going and it shuts itself off once it's made it's boiling point. It needs to be on a flat steady surface or it will fall. I think a fun part for us is seeing the light come on when it's boiling. Makes it look so cool and so pretty. It does a great job working.
