My young kids have used and abused this thing, I’ve seen it roll off 6-7ft on to solid rock, only thing that ended up happening was a wheel cracked then I upgraded to some weighted metal ones but the plastic originals with the crack were still 100% functional. Mess around with shock mount locations and this thing hugs the rocks

For the price, you can't beat it! This thing is a very capable crawler. The blue one's body style would have worked better for my uses but the red just looks so pretty on this truck. You get an LCG and portal axles for this price! I did play with this thing stock and it works really well if it's for a kid or someone new to crawling. It does not come with batteries so you'll have to factor that in. I currently run this on a 2200mah 3s lipo and I get amazing times. I like to upgrade/mod things and this crawler already has some pretty good aftermarket support. Transmitter feels pretty nice in the hand and it's very easy to use. So far I've only done light modifications to this (wheels, tires, springs, shock oil, body trimming). I will say though, the ESC is kind of loud and the drag brake on it isn't the best. ESC will probably be my next upgrade for it.

This is a great rc truck. Alot of fun. Play with the body ride hight to get max tire clearance. This is a great crawler.

Terrible design don't by this truck. Who ever the engineer behind this needs to find another line of work. 1st off the truck was delivered damaged 2 links rear and front stabilizer broken. 2nd the 2 rear shocks came bent because the link were broken so they were inoperable. 3rd to remove the front shocks you have to take apart the entire front end axels and all just to get to the lower front shock screw out. Take my word for it never buy this brand because this just makes no sense of having to dismantle things just to remove the shocks. If you don't take my word for GOOD LUCK. I'VE been supper busy so only now able to open the box and this crap i received is unreturnable due to the date. I am going to fix these parts just so I'm not out $300+ but ill never buy this brand again. No one should either.

absolutely the best RTR straight out of the box that I have ever purchased...lived it so much I bought a second one and recommended it to a buddy who also purchased one and loves it as wellm

I am an scx fan but when Redcat brought this out i was curious to try it and it was worth it. Its an LCG with the option to over drive the front axle with a quick gear change in the transmission. The stock tires aren't bad and it has the gen 9 portals. The only down side is the stiff shocks which is an easy fix with a spring swap. Well worth the $300

I like this RC Truck. It looks really cool. It works great right out of the box. Even the box it came in looks good. It has a low center of gravity. So it is a good climber. It is heavier than my other RC Truck of the same 1/10 scale. It must be built a little sturdier. The Venom 5000, 30C, 2 Cell, 7.4 Volt battery works good in it. The battery came with 3 adaptors so it will work with other RC vehicles. I also have a 1984 Chevy Base Camp K10 Rock Crawler. This battery also works with that truck.

It's a comp crawler that's all but for me I turned it into a tow truck so the 2 piece blue body was perfect for my build, sure it has good crawling tires but they are glued on plastic rims, got enough wheel speed right out of the box, hopefully my new hobbywing fusion se 1200kv gives the same wheel speed but not too worried if it doesn't, for the price you can't beat it for a cheap way to get a fully functional comp crawler without having to buy one and then mod it out for like $400-$1000 cuz just a different motor setup and tires and beadlock rims can get you to enjoy some competition for less amount of money

Great truck but came with broken pan hard mount due to the way it’s packaged. But this is not a toy rc this is as close to comp crawler you can buy rtr or its brother the ascent fusion. As far as its capabilities are concerned its out crawls my heavily modified trx4 sport and both my axials right out of the box.
