I never write reviews, but felt I had to given my experience with this product. I purchased two of these chrome combo units and will be purchasing a third one today. It took me about 15-minutes to install each of these units. I have not had any leaking of any type, the rubber gasket o-rings provided with these units are excellent. Crystal quest was the only combo softener unit I could find that used both a cooper-zinc media filter and an active carbon media filter to remove chlorine and other contaniments from the water. The effect is immediate as you get a tingly feeling all over your body as soon as you begin using it, so you feel the softness of the water. The chlorine and rotten egg smell goes away immediately. We were shocked at how immediate it was. There was no decrease in water pressure and I would say that the water pressure increased almost two fold from our old shower head to this one--Making for a more exhilerating spa-like experience. We also wanted a combo unit with a high quality glossy chrome finish to continue the upscale look and feel of our other bathroom fixtures and this unit was the only one we could find that could also meet this requirement. It looks very nice and upscale as opposed to the all white models. My wife and daughters love using the handheld to wash their hair and they claim it has made a real difference is the softness of their hair, not leaving it dry, brittle and flaky as before. The same goes for their skin. I would highly recommend this product !

I like the water filter, but the shower head and handheld showerhead leaks, and the two and one bracket does not tighten so I can’t fasten the handheld as it’s supposed to be. This is really frustrating as I thought it was best to buy the entire kit from the company thinking it would be a better installation. I reached out to Amazon, but they want me to contact the company Crystal quest so we’ll see how that goes.

A lot of people say this leaks but if you use the provided gaskets correctly it does not. I’m on well water and it is hard and sometimes discolored slightly. This has done wonders and it is an obvious difference from my old shower head. Don’t know how long the filters will hold up because we have had it for only 2 weeks, but I bought a replacement filter so we should be good for sometime. I also don’t have the strongest water pressure but this head works just fine with it. We are very happy with the purchas.

Before this one, I used several different products and like this one the best because the pressure was very good and water feels very soft and no smell. However, it leeks and don't know how to fix. I'm still using it, but very annoying.

This water filter was a total waste of money. It broke down 3 months after I purchased it, 2 months after I installed it. Now, I knew it wouldn't look classy, and it doesn't, but my main concern was durability. Well, the "ON" button is stuck in the "OFF" position, and unless I press really hard WHILE showering, no water comes out. In addition, while it was working, the water pressure was terrible, barely dripping. I contacted the seller and got no reply. I wanted a replacement or money return, but no luck. Save money and stay away from this product.

I'm submitting this review here even though I bought this product directly off the company website, because the company apparently only permits 5-star reviews to be shown on its website and I think it's important consumers have access to different perspectives. I've had this showerhead/filter combo for several months now, and overall I'm disappointed. I will say, I ordered this to decrease the chlorine smell in my water, and I do feel like it's done that. However, the downsides really outweigh the benefit: 1. I followed the directions closely, but no matter how many times I've installed and reinstalled it, no matter how carefully I align it or how much tape I use, the filter casing leaks. It's also made of plastic and is very cheap-feeling, which I think lends to it not aligning well. 2. There were no installation instructions included with the showerhead. It was easy enough to find a PDF online, but including instructions with an item that the consumer needs to install is a no-brainer and really speaks to a lack of quality and attentiveness on behalf of the brand. Again, I'm glad the filter seems to have helped with the chlorine smell in the water, but overall I'm disappointed in this product. I would not buy from Crystal Quest again and would recommend other consumers shop elsewhere.

The unit said it was chrome, but it was plastic painted with silver paint. When we went to tighten down the apparatus, it cracked and we had to glue it. Next, the shower hose started to unravel and sprayed water all over the shower. We contacted the seller, and she got on it right away and said we will receive those parts in the mail. We probably should have returned the whole unit, but then we'd be without a shower until we could find a replacement.

I am going to try to get it fixed or get a return there is too much weight on one part of the joint between the filter and the head so it broke off!! Just snapped without warning. The water quality is great the design not so much.
