I enjoy this for a summer accessory. Quality is fine…style a little funky which I like!

Quality must vary from one necklace to another. The one I received (quickly) will be a gift for a friend who saw a similar leather and pearl necklace in an upscale catalog for well over one hundred dollars. Her birthday necklace cost me less than a 10th of that price, doesn't have any odor, isn't stiff and the pearls are lustrous and nice. No peeling or flaking on these pearls. Maybe I just got lucky? I'll caution her not to wear it in a hot tub or pool; the leather cord will stiffen and/or break down if it gets wet.

Love it. I got both the earrings and the necklace. Tons of compliments. Simple, and elegant.

I wish I had read the reviews first. This necklace has a very strong musty smell to it, like it was stored in a damp basement. Cute and good quality for the price, but I have tried everything from soaking it with Lysol spray; hanging it outside in the sun, and even running it through the washing machine with fabric deodorizer. Can’t find the packaging to return it, so it is now in the garbage.

This is a beautiful necklace and I love it! But I give it 3 starts only because the chain is too thin and gets caught in itself, making these little knots that I have to constantly pull apart. If they made it with a slightly less dainty chain it would be 5 star!!!

Worth the money.

I tried to air it out, hung it around our air purifier with scented oil- nothing helped. I really like the necklace but cannot take the smell. Not sure of what the rope is made of- but it cannot be good --toxic against your skin. Needless to say- I am sadly returning it & hope to find another similar to it without the musky smell.

I was so disappointed with this necklace. The leather had a moldy smell. I tried for weeks to eliminate the odor. Hung it outside, put it in a zip lock bag with baking soda, etc. but nothing worked. I kept it too long and wasn't able to return it. I decided I would just cut the beads from the leather and throw it away. I may try to restring the pearls on a better quality leather that doesn't smell.
