The most important book to read this year
An important contribution for CR theorists." Islamophobia persists as one of the final forms of acceptable bigotry. It is, as I have stated timer and again, that last bastion of tolerable hate that is not only palatable in the popular sphere, but a hate that pundits build careers off of, politicians claim power through, and hatemongers - seated before church stages and carrying tiki torches across college campuses - only spew." This timely masterpiece is a credit to the author who has done a remarkable job ensuring the stories of these martyrs and victims of islamophobia are heard. From France to Palestine to Uyghur, the book highlights islamophobia hidden in the murkiest corners of the capitalist world. The foreword by Miss Crenshaw also gives insight into a world where scholars are often prevented from going. The duo take this challenge on fearlessly to give some type of justice for the victims. Perhaps the only justice they will ever get. Someone listened to them, validated their experience and told the world about it. Thank you Mr. Beydoun.

Bought for my husband and he couldn’t put it down!
Bought this for hubby since we both really like the author and follow him on social media (only one of us likes reading though, or is actually good at reading - yes its a skill lol) but he was so happy when he received it and he has been slowly reading it and giving me the cliffnotes. Long story short, this is eye-opening and a must read for anyone with a conscious, especially with the current g€n0c!d€ taking place in the middle east!

Analysis on point
I’m halfway through this book I’ve been wanting to read for a moment now. It has been very enlightening and has put words on a phenomenon not easy to explain. As a teacher in France, I wish this book could be read by the greater number and that, instead of watching and believing what is said on the media, these people would educate themselves. In a time when the French government is debating whether long dresses are a religious symbol that should be forbidden at school, I think that book would open a lot of people’s eyes. Thanks for this beautifully written, yet very accessible book.

A must read!
Extremely well written, a must read especially amid the ongoing tragedies in the Middle East and an alarming increase in islamophobic rhetoric and violence against Muslims
