Upon shaping the bristles with a light touch they fell out!

While I love the plastic gripper style handles on these paintbrushes I've never ever in my 50 plus years as a painter/art teacher have I had the bristles just fall out of the ferrule. This happened with the largest flat brush that happens to be purple. I am hoping the rest of the set holds up and serves me well as I plan to paint a little bit tonight. Luckily so far the main brush I plan to use is one of the smaller flats. I was really hoping to give these brushes with the super comfy handles a great review!!!!
