It has been good in wind and rain, at this price point I find it a real value. I really like it and use it almost every day. When they are giving us a chance of rain or cold heavy winds this is always with me. A little update as of Dec 2016: We had had some cold north winds so far this year. I have taken to wearing this shell every day. I put a nice fleece under it. It has really stopped the wind in its tracks. Wild chills below zero and this been great. Between the two it has been very light and warm. For the record I have ordered two more of them for friends. Oh I made sure and ordered all mine big to get that fleece under them. Update.... I just got a 2nd one for myself it is a 4x just like my other one. But this one is much bigger. So take the sizing with a grain of salt.
