Before making the decision to purchase such a sizable umbrella online, I always had concerns about the possibility of having to return it if it didn't meet my expectations. Fortunately, I've been lucky enough to have a patio umbrella of exceptional quality.Upon receiving the package, I found it to be complete, and easy to assemble. The fabric and aluminum frame of the umbrella are thick and sturdy, ensuring its resilience against outdoor wind damage.It's worth noting the impressive functionality of the crank mechanism on this offset umbrella. Opening it is a breeze as we simply need to step on the foot pedal and twist the pole, allowing for a convenient 360° adjustment of the shading area. Moreover, the handle enables us to modify the shading angle by up to 120°.All in all, this large umbrella meets all the needs of my family. We really like it and will recommend it to our friends.

The construction of this awning is very sturdy, it has withstood several tropical storms when I wasn’t home to roll it up. One thing though is after rain when not rolled up, awning tends to droop down and you have to readjust the bolts in order for it to regain height.As you can see the color fastness of the fabric leaves something to be desired. My awning is a little more than a year old and it was originally a bright red, it is now completely faded. One good thing is that the fabric is still red on the underside.

The media could not be loaded. This cantilever umbrella is really great! It took five mins to assemble, and then I could sit under this umbrella with my family all afternoon, and it can be adjusted so easily to any angle to resist the sun and UV from anywhere. The crank is so easy to adjustable. This color is really beautiful, the fabric looks great. But this umbrella doesn't include base, but it's good quality and heavy. I will buy a stable base for it.

*** Update on 08/08/22:Customer service was amazing! They contacted me within a day of the review and sent me a replacement for the defective umbrella within days. I didn’t even have to do anything. The new umbrella lights are working great and we hope to get many years of use from it.===============I just got this umbrella a few weeks ago and never had a chance to turn on the lights till now. It’s been outside sitting in the charge charging. When I turned on the lights tonight I was disappointed to find out that one of the light rows didn’t even turn on. Haven’t had one use of the lights and already defective.

I purchased this for our new porch that gets hit with direct sunlight quite a bit. We also have a firepit and enjoy being on the porch in evening. The small lights give off a nice glow and the center light is there when you need more. It held up in some higher winds well when I forgot to lower it. Very happy with it!

I paid about $205.00 for what seemed like a structurally strong “East Oak” cantilever umbrella with lights on Amazon Prime, The pictures were great, but that’s where greatness ends and CHAOS continues. What I first received was a handrail- really weird when you expect an umbrella. So, I called Amazon and told them the situation was instructed to return the handrail once i received the umbrella and so I returned the handrail when I received the umbrella, as directed. I assembled the umbrella, and it turned out to be poorly designed.Here’s what to know.The parts that hold the umbrella (coupling, sleeves, hinge) are made of cheap flimsy plastic, that seem like they’ll snap. The bolts used to assemble the base are short and seem unable to hold the weight of the cantilever, and the umbrella canopy lacks ties to anchor it to the pole to hold it in place. So, even on a day with a light breeze, make sure to close it. The umbrella is not at all sturdy- even with heavy weight on the metal cross base. On the instruction manual in fine print, it basically reads that it needs to be closed in a 5mph breeze.. Plus the solar lights were defective. Altogether, the umbrella didn’t work right. In addition, the day I received my umbrella, the price dropped to $140, (a $50 difference). It was off-putting. I wrapped mine up and sent it back, but have not received my refund back, yet, and Amazon has usually been very good. I am concerned. Sadly, this whole transaction was a poor, discomforting, experience.

Read the description. You have to buy an expensive base as well. Kinda flimsy, fell over in a gust and bent the umbrella metal supports. Not bad, but not really that great either. Light is kinda a joke…
