Q: where do I get a wiring diagram?

Makes no sense that it arrives with no wiring diagram. I connected the 2 blue wires to 110 volts and it works. I assume the yellow is ground but I am not sure so I caped it off and attached ground to the metal body directly by drilling a hole.

Q: What is the noise rating in db?

Not loud at all. Used in a 8x8 plastic shed. You don't hear it inside or out

Q: Is it considered explosion proof I want to use it for spray paint fumes and overspray

For explosive vapors, electric motors have to be made explicitly for this purpose, and described as such when purchasing. Most electric motors have the potential for possible sparking and could ignite vapors if flammable. I believe this fan is designed for moving air. If explosion proof it would state so in description.
