I have gone through most of the brands and types of hot glue offered on Amazon. This product produces the most durable bond and has great results with every application you could expect out of hot glue.

The fact that these glue sticks are any color not clear to cloudy is worth the price of admission. We have plenty of the found everywhere glue sticks that can be easily bought at any big box store. Those standard glue sticks do well enough but the end result is not very pretty. Globs of cloudy glue and strings everywhere. It just seems like these WorkPro sticks do a better job of blending in with projects and these glue sticks don't string as bad.I got the larger 8" glue sticks for multiple projects or large projects. The WorkPro glue sticks seem to flow better in our glue guns and they definitely have better adhesion than the clear glue sticks we've been using.They are described as "General Use" but they do a bit better than "General Use" in my opinion. If they make a more industrial strength version of these I would definitely buy those from them too. These black glues sticks these are a definite recommend from me. 5 stars.

First reaction when it came out of my glue gun was, "It's the Venom symbiote!!!" So freaking cool!!!This is my first time using anything other than clear gkue in my low temp full sized glue gun. As compared with the many different brands of clear glue sticks I've used all my life, these black ones are a bit different.They seem to take longer to heat up (maybe?) as they don't give as continuous a flow as clear sticks, and I find that I have to wait a little bit before I pump out more, or give smaller, shorter pumps of it to get a continuous flow. Otherwise, it is the same feeling of trying to push out the glue before the glue gun gets all the way up to temp. (Very difficult with little to no glue coming out.)One really nice thing though, is that it doesn't continuously ooze out the front of my glue gun like clear does. There are also little to no fly-away web strings as well. Always a plus. It also didn't get as hot or stay as hot for as long as clear sticks I've worked with. It didn't burn my fingers if I touched it right away either. All very nice features.I also found it to be a bit more forgiving and shapeable... I was making a petal imprint (from a metal flower) and found that I could use the head of my glue gun to go over and smooth out any lumps and such without it turning goopy and weird. It was pretty cool to work with it like that actually.It also seemed like it had a more rubbery/flexible consistency once it cooled, but was still incredibly strong.I also love the VERY black, opaque color. This could make some really cool Halloween decorations or freaky candle drips... or whatever!Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different. Or for anyone open to trying something new. Would definitely buy again. And you can't beat the price for such a giant bag! I'm not going to need hot glue stick again for a very long time.
