Have had these in the drawer for probably 15yrs, and recently used them all on a new collection of objects. When I ran out I was concerned I might not be able to get them anymore. Lo and behold they’re still made!! Perfect solution for protecting surfaces. One bit of advice, be careful on painted surfaces. I put these on the bottom of a decorative metal box and left in on the window sill, after about 2 weeks I picked it up and a bit of the material had stuck to the sill. Easily cleaned off and the window gets hot so it was understandable. Every other surface was perfect.Why did you pick this product vs others?:

These pads are very easy to cut and the ONLY product I have ever found that STICKS. I have bought so many different types of pads and rubber for the bottoms of my kitchen chairs and bar stools. Overtime, every other pad has come off, and then the sticky part gets on the floor and leaves marks. I have had these about 3 months and so far so good. We also have a tile floor in our family room basement and the couches kept sliding around when we would go to sit, and then the couch would bash into the wall. I put these pads on the bottoms of the couches as well, and it deters the slide. They still do move a little bit, but with the weight of kids jumping into a couch verses sitting down nicely, I guess I will call this a win. I thought the price was steep for some rubber and adhesive, but now that I have cut them and used them where I want, I'd buy this product again! I have tried so many different felt pads with adhesive, and spent so much money, and they don't even compare! Plus those ones you have to buy the size they offer. With this product you can cut it EXACTLY THE SIZE YOU WANT.

Used for under my large standing mirror as a grip to stay on the floor and these work great. They are strong and has held my mirror for over 10 months. Easy to put on the floor or move if needed. I haven’t tried peeling up since having my mirror on it so I’m not sure how if comes off the floor after longer periods of time but when installing I could easy move if I put in wrong stop.

Good to use as a buffer for furniture, but now what I was looking for. This is more of a foam material than rubber, and doesn't provide the necessary adhesion without a decent amount of pressure being applied to it. I was looking for a more rubber like material that would have a lot of friction even without putting much pressure on it.

I purchased these gripper pads back in April of 2011. We just finished building a new house and our living room has hard wood floors. We have a sofa and a love seat and both were moving all over the place and I knew would eventually scratch the wood floor. I often stretch out on the floor and then sit with my back against the sofa to watch TV. Just the weight of my upper torso leaning against the sofa pushed it backwards before we tried these gripper pads - that is how slippery the feet of the sofa were on the wood floors.Now it is July and I wanted to give some feedback for others considering these gripper pads. We purchased the 4" by 5" pads and cut them down with simple scissors to almost exactly the shape and size of the feed of our sofa and love seat. On our particular sofa and love seat each corner has a triangular shaped wooden foot and there is also a smaller round foot exactly in the middle.I have to admit, when I received the product, I was thinking there was maybe a 25% chance that it would work as advertised. I am very happy to say the product works incredibly well. After cutting them to the correct size and shape, we just pulled back the backing paper and stuck them to the feet of both the sofa and love seat (including the small round foot in the middle). As soon as we set them back on their feet, they stuck like they had been glued to the floor. They do not budge - not even a little. My kids run and jump on the sofa and love seat. I sit on the floor and lean against them. Guests come over and plop down on them. They have not moved a millimeter from where they were placed back in April.They stick so well, I was worried they may "glue" themselves to my hardwood and either not want to release or worse, leave black marks or damage the wood. This does not happen either. Last week I had to tip the sofa back so I could put a surge strip into the outlet we had installed in the floor under the sofa when we built the house (for lamps and laptop power cords!). I just grabbed the front of the sofa and lifted up. For a second the pads stuck then, with a bit of a sound kind of like packaging tape being pulled off its roll, they released and I tipped the sofa back and inspected. There were 0 marks on the floor and nothing left behind to indicate where the legs had made contact with the floor. I had my wife plug in the surge strip while I held the sofa back and then when she was done, carefully lowered it again to the floor. It is back exactly where it was and the sofa continues to stay exactly where it should be - I did not have to re-apply.Very long and winded story short, the stuff works as advertised. I am extremely pleased and had to report it to all of you because it seems as though fewer and fewer thing work the way they are advertised anymore and this product worked so well! Highly recommended!

This was perfect for what I needed. I have to wear a hand brace, but the brace was uncomfortable around my thumb. I needed something a little long and narrow with a little cushion with adhesive, to wrap around the brace. All the one I found were huge and no adhesive. This one work perfect for me.

Got this to hold down my mat. It did not work. The glue seemed to have melted away and tape would just slide all over the place.
