Working fine, great price
I bought this for my elderly father-in-law who lives in a rented housing association flat which still has these old style fluorescent tube lights. Rather than wait weeks for them to come and change it, I looked for one on Amazon and was surprised to find this at an excellent price so had it delivered direct to him promptly on our Prime account then went and fitted it for him - job done!I was pleased to find this type of tube so easily and so cheaply. The quality appeared fine, it fits well, is bright and flicker free, and has been working reliably ever since, so we are pleased all round. If you ever need one of these I can recommend this product.

Good Light
Nothing spectacular, but it does what it's supposed to do, which is good.

Does the job but nowhere near advertised lifetime (2 years life span)
I purchased one of these in Jan 22, it died in Nov 2023, so lasted just under 2 years. Nowhere near the lifetime they advertise (8 years).I expected more from Philips to be honest. They're usually top quality for bulbs but that advertised lifetime is nowhere near true.Apart from that it was fine.

Only lasted 6 months
I chose a Philips brand lamp because I was expecting it to be a quality item with a good lifespan.Unfortunately, after installing it carefully, it stopped working after only 6 months. That's really not good enough. This is supposed to be an eco friendly item that reduces energy and waste. It's not ok to have to replace it with another so soon and send this to landfill.I've contacted the seller in case this was just a one-off. I will update this review if they get back to me with a replacement or part refund.Update: no reply from seller. Clearly they don't care.

10000 hours Philips Light bulb
10000 hours Philips Light bulb. Very happy to receive this fast delivery with Amazon Prime today because I could change and fit it straight away and it worked! So I stocked up on these because they are an old type of Philips Light bulb not easily available unless you looked on Amazon to find it easily. Easy to install and good value for money when you buy at least four or eight.

Doesn't have a long lifespan
I bought this product as a direct replacement for the existing one in my bathroom. It lasted maybe 2 months. The one prior had lasted about a year. For the £7 it cost it was nice to not have to turd in the dark, but the short lifespan left a bitter taste in my mouth given that it was only on for a few minutes a day at most.I ended up replacing the entire fitting with a new LED light, which still works 2 years on, so no electrical faults, must have been crappy philips bulbs.
