False advertisement here. Poor quality and way too small for advertised size dogs. Don’t waste your money

This product in large is just the right size for my big aussie to go through. My 16# mini aussie is big enough to operate it, but if he had a sister, they could both go through side by side. The telescoping feature works with different wall thicknesses, and means that I don't have to finish the cut. It saves energy compared to the sliding glass door type, which never have a good seal.

This is one large doggy door. Good quality. Definitely able to accommodate a large pet size or anything up to. The opening measures 12 inches wide by 15 inches tall. The clear door has a slight magnetic catch that is enough to keep it closed but not intimidate the pet from using. This of course could be slightly problematic in a high wind situation. As there is no lock or switch that would keep the flapping side of the door secure. There is a large cover to be placed on either the inside or outside depending or which direction the door is installed. I can't speak for any dogs but I can assure you this is definitely cat approved. For me this lets my cat have the freedom to go out more. This also helps keep unwanted elements out of my home like bugs. The space in between is also easy to put a bit of insulation in the middle to keep out the cold. Considering the benefits and the longevity of this it is a great product at a good value.
