I got this for my teens and me just to have some fun, and honestly, it’s been pretty awesome! It’s tiny and folds up into this handy case, so taking it places is a breeze perfect for trips or the park. Here’s what’s good: • The brushless motors make a big difference they’re quieter and handle light wind way better than other toy drones we’ve tried. • Obstacle avoidance actually works pretty well kept us from crashing a few times while we were still learning. • The remote’s super simple to use, and the one-click takeoff/landing plus hover mode make it beginner-friendly. • It’s got some cool features like gesture control, so you can try out all kinds of stuff. I had no prior experience using a drone, so it was important for me to have clear instructions for every step. First, the assembly and setup was easy to follow. The materials appeared durable yet lightweight. Connecting the app to the drone’s wifi signal was also a breeze. Learning to pilot the drone competently certainly took some practice, but the navigation controls were easy to use. Having the temporary cardboard layover with labels on the control device was nice, though it would be ideal to have more permanent markings to reference. After about 30 minutes of training, I was able to successfully pilot the drone around my immediate area and take both high quality photos and video and got them downloaded to my phone. I learned that it was necessary to adjust significantly for any wind. There was only a light detectable breeze, yet I had to compensate strongly to get the drone to fly in the direction against that breeze. Obviously it would take more practice to pilot more expertly and over greater distances, but I found this drone easy to use and would recommend it to any other rookie drone pilots.

I have a lot of kids and we all love flying drones. So I have owned quite a few drones over the years. We can be kind of hard on them, too, so I also have an idea of what to expect in terms of sturdiness. I got this drone for one of my younger kids. I wanted something that would be easy for him to get started on and could handle taking some crash landings from time to time. We have flown this drone quite a bit over the last few weeks and so far it has been absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. Set up was a breeze. I put on the propeller guards and let my son have at it. It was really easy for him to get the hang of. The controller even comes with an overlay labeling the different controls. It was totally easy peezy! I definitely would recommend this drone for beginners and casual users. Of course, hard-core enthusiasts will want something next level but that's an entirely different and much more expensive segment. For people wanting something that's easy to use and not too pricey, you cannot go wrong with this drone!

I bought this drone to get used to flying quad rotors, without risking crashing a more expensive drone. What I liked about it is that it's easy to carry around and the battery is easy to swap out. Flying it was fun, it can go relatively fast for its size. For the most part, the optical tracking camera keeps the platform stable. I've run it into a couple of things, and its survived the collision. There were even times were it stayed in the air after one of the propellers slightly brushed up against something. Flying it is fun. I was hoping to get some imagery off this drone in order to test some object detection and visual odometry algorithms. For this purpose, a 1280x720 resolution is more than enough. I knew there was no image stabilization, and for these purposes that is completely fun. However, the motion blur ruins a lot of the video frames. Unless you're not touching the controls and there's no wind, you won't get a clear image. There is no storage on the device. When you capture video or imagery, it is capturing a heavily compressed JPEG frame sent over UDP (broken up into several packets). Because of this technique, you can't expect a smooth frame rate (especially when its out of line of sight or far away) and quality of the image is significantly reduced. Despite what the title says, this is not a 1080p drone. It transmits JPEGs at the resolution of 1280x720, so its technically 720p. The application you download to use it is kind of finicky. It asks you to sign up for an account, but I was able to use it without doing this by hitting the back button. The app would crash every time I tried to change the settings. If you look up the developer of the app, you'll find that it is by LIU DEV - who makes a lot of the apps of the other drones sold on Amazon and I believe the company is LE WEI - they seem to make a lot of camera-like toys sold on Amazon under different brand names. I wouldn't buy it again, because of the quality of the video recording (maybe, you just get what you pay for). I am giving it two stars instead of three, because the advertised resolution is not truthful.

This drone is easy to control in the air. It can go quite high, but obviously you want to be careful of the wind. The design is great as it comes with 4 guardrails to protect the blades of the drone. The camera quality is decent, it definitely will allow you to see some sights, I managed to test it at night with a few lights on and the quality was acceptable. The battery is okay, not the best, but the upside is that it ships with two batteries that you can charge, so if one is drained you can just immediately prop the other one straight in. I would definitely recommend this as a gift for a child or someone who didn’t HAVE A CHANCE to experience this kind of joy when they were younger as it can most definitely be a fun experience. Quick Pointers: • Drone only takes off when you use the lift off button on the controller (as far as I know.) • Lift off button can also be used to safely land the drone. • Arrives with a nice case • Comes with a screwdriver that you’ll need to push the small button on the back of the controller to eject the casing •360 movement is very responsive, you can actually click the button multiple times and the drone will do a good job keeping up! Overall this is a good drone.

La batería solamente le dura 5 minutos, en la descripción dice que dura 26 minutos... También veo comentarios que les incluía dos baterías a mi solo me enviaron una.. Ya pedí mi reembolso y aún no veo respuesta.
