Review: Impressed - Up until recently I didn't even know that these existed, I had seen the expensive specialist chasing machines, but not something that could be fitted to a regular angle grinder, these don't seem to be stocked by many places. Really impressed with this, the unit seems sturdy enough for my (enthusiast rather than trade) needs, with an all metal construction. After having used angle grinders to make chases in block work in the past I'm well aware of how much dust this can throw up. I'm living in a house that I'm renovating so trying to minimise dust and mess is a priority. Using this connected to a shopvac and there is very little/no visible dust when making chases (obv still wear the appropriate PPE). The depth stop allows you to use as a plunge cutter. I imagine that the straight edge on the unit would also be really useful for running against a guide rather than just 'free handing' if you needed a clean straight edge cut, say for paving slabs/thick tiles. I'm using with a 115mm Makita angle grinder, which works fine it just will not give you the depth of cut that a 125mm grinder will. I'll give 5 stars as it does exactly what I wanted.
