A perfect sauna hat! Fits all my hair and keeps hair/head at a proper temp.

This sauna hat seems to protect my hair from damage while in the sauna, however, I am not sure how since it is an odd shape, too large for my head. It looks like something that would cause my head/hair to sweat but it does not. It is also lightweight, but a poor fit.

This sauna hat is handmade from black wool felt. Yoopers from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan love the sauna, eh, 😉 even when 🎣 ice fishing. With a Banya hat like this one, your head you will be covered while running out to make a quick check on your tip-up.Felt is a type of matted fabric that consists of textile fibers condensed and pressed together traditionally made with wool. Wool provides warmth even when wet. There is a generous loop on its top to hang on a hook. I ordered this for a friend who loves the outdoors and saunas.

This fits a bit large and is not stretchy. There is enough room to put my hair up inside of the hat to protect it. Wool hats are supposed to keep your head cool during the sauna and protect your hair from heat damage. So far this works my purpose.

I have an infrared sauna blanket and I saw these hats and thought it was a great idea since heat escapes through your head. I wrap a towel around my neck and then put this hat on and jump in. I do notice a difference in how much I sweat during each session now. It's made out of thin wool so it's not the most durable thing made but you don't really need much to insulate your head. I've had beanies that are thicker than this. It's also pretty large in diameter so it will fit just about anyone's head size. It's very flexible so if you are laying down with it on you won't notice it too much. Because it is on the thinner side is probably what makes it more comfortable to lay down with it on. I'm sure there are better quality hats out there that cost a lot more but for me this hat works great and I'm happy to have it in my wellness routine. If you haven't put a head covering on during your sauna sessions I highly recommend one. It does help.

The hat fit good, and it did its job in the sauna, but black fibers were coming from the hat all over my body and hands I tried washing the hat many times, but the hat would not stop shedding black hair like fibers. Too bad the hat worked will except for the shedding. I will return it and well try a different brand.

I have two wrestlers in the house. They do need the sauna regularly for making weight. Got this for them to protect their hair and keep their heads cool.-It is made of wool, feels soft and not scratchy.- This is large enough to cover ears, too, as they get hot in the sauna.- very nicely constructed- traditional aspect is inspiring
