This is by far the best DIY product I have found!! After extensive research and reading countless reviews I chose this product. It is very reasonably priced and so very effective that I will never change again. After moving into a much older home and living in Florida (hot!) I started noticing german cockroaches coming inside through the weaknesses of the walls and doorways. I tried a couple different things from the store with no effect and before I knew it there was a major infestation. After speaking with a pest control company they told me it would start at $4000 to gain control back over the problem then a monthly maintenance fee. As a single parent I just don't have that kind of extra money so I decided to give it a good effort to find the right solution. There are several articles out that give a lot of different advice but the one that was most common throughout was Alpine..so after looking at several different products, this one was midway for cost. I decided to try it first so if it didn't work I didn't waste too much money. The package comes with 5 packets and a very specific mixing guide based on the type of bug and how bad the infestation is. For bad infestations it recommends 3 packets per gallon to start. It is very easy to mix.. I put it in a one gallon pressure sprayer and waited about 20 minutes to dissolve completely. Sprayed the entire house, heavier in the problem areas, then waited. I noticed over the first week there were a lot of dead bugs but the live ones were still there pretty bad. Sprayed again once a week and after the first month the problem was getting better. I would say about 50% better. After the second month it was probably closer to 95%! Now (about 3 months later) I very rarely see any bugs at all and when I do, I do a little spot treatment and the problem is gone. Even though I am crazy about reading reviews I don't entirely trust them so if I do find a product that deserves a great review then I will gladly give it! One more thing to note, I have 2 dogs and a young child and I haven’t had any problems with them at all. There is virtually no smell and it's safe for pets after it dries

It works. You need to spray EVERYWHRE twice a day. Give it 5 days and the bugs are gone. Keep spraying once a day. The formula is odorless.

I’m sooooooo happy & relieved that this product worked. I had a disgusting ant infestation in my pantry and laundry room. I tried the Terro baits for a couple of weeks with literally absolutely no improvement at all. The ant situation was stressing/grossing me out big time. I did some research and read about this product as an option if the sugar baits aren’t working. I bought the Alpine and a cheap pump sprayer container, cleaned up the baits and sprayed all of my baseboards/window sills/entry ways. There were a bunch of dead ants in random places near the rooms that had infestations the next morning after spraying the Alpine, but I have not seen a live ant since spraying. That was over a week ago. I’m so grateful that this worked! And as a bonus, a spider crawled up my window screen (through the dry alpine spray) and died on the screen before it could even make it to the top of it. Yay!!!! I hate bugs.

Best roach killer I’ve ever used. One time application exactly how the package states to apply it. Only thing I did was increased the concentration just a bit more than stated. I wanted a one time kill out. It worked. I didn’t see any bug of any kind in my house for weeks. Even then they were dead when I seen them. We had a few roaches that were barely kicking in the floors here and there for a few days after spraying but nothing since then.

I had a new nest of wasps inside my wall. They were periodically intruding into the interior which put the family as well as our cats at risk and decided to take care of it myself. Especially since wasps can cause structural damage if left unchecked. Outside I observed where the wasps were coming and going from a small gap beneath an exterior doorframe. Following the instructions, I gave the entryway a good spray of the Alpine/water mix from a spray bottle. I did retreat when the wasps grew annoyed, but within a day the nest was completely inactive. Two weeks later I sealed the hole and have been wasp free ever since. I'd have preferred just a cheaper single packet option, thus the four stars, but I gave the rest to coworkers who had similar problems which were just as easily taken care of. I highly recommend this product. Be sure to wear protective equipment like rubber gloves when using this on a wasp nest as well as being careful to avoid being stung if they get protective. It is also relatively safe for use around pets as I believe it's the same ingredient used in flea collars and such. But avoid exposing your animals to direct contact just to be safe.

Combined with the liquid tecko this is the best product ever!If you have a roach problem use switch and techo together, be sure to buy both .

This product works. And works well. Very well. It requires a different approach. It allows the unwelcome intruder to be exposed to it and take it to their hideout. And share it. And then it starts to work. And work it does. Don't be impatient. Wait about a week after a thorough application and begin to be completely free of unwanted visitors.
