Q: I thought this was made in the USA?

Hello, thank you for your interest in the Snow White French Press. We are the USA distributors for a number of products we have. This item was manufactured in China. The Frieling French Press is held up to German standards and is made by our same direct partner for 20+ years and is under strict quality/factory controls.

Q: How do you take apart the plunger? Tried unscrewing, but only the knob came off.

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Sunshine French Press. To disassemble the plunger, there is a small nut right above the screens. You'll turn that small nut right. You'll start to feel the plunger become "loose". Once it becomes loose, keep turning, and the plunger will be disassembled.
