I am thrilled with this product. Cons: Yes, it is flimsy plastic. Made in China. The lids do not seal so it is easy to knock them off if you are messing with them. It is only meant for indoor use. Pros: It works. It is inexpensive. I added an inexpensive heating pad, not thinking it would make much difference. Between the trays, grow lights, and heating mat I have seen a bunch of different seeds sprout in only FOUR DAYS. I have struggled and struggled with seed germination, drowning my seeds, scorching them with too much sun, and everything else (including birds eating my baby sprouts.). THIS WORKS. Follow directions. Photo is sunflowers after only 4 days on Tray 5. And Bok Choi is Tray 1.

This seat starter is amazing. I got the small one and the large ones. I start a lot of my fruit and vegetables in there and then I’ll put them outside and they’re growing so beautifully. It’s very sturdy. It’s not that thick but it does the job. It does have a drainage. It’s worth the money with the economy the way it is. We all need to plant our own food.

I love these trays with the humidity domes and adjustable vents. The only weak point are the grow lights. They are not producing enough light and get noticeably dimmer over a few months. (I start a lot of seeds.) I still buy these over the version without the lights, but I would love some with upgraded lights.

Cool but I don’t recommend using them for TC’s (tissue culture) Top is very loose/ doesn’t snap on, so it really doesn’t keep humidity in very well. The grow light adapters are not separate for you to put the cases in different places which is a real bummer bc I can’t group them together in my limited space. Easy to put together. Not very sturdy. Height could be better. But I suppose if you’re using this to actually grow seeds it may be beneficial? For me it was a waste of money and I will be donating them when I get my TC’s acclimated 100% IF YOU'RE USING THIS FOR TC DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY… LOOK ELSEWHERE!

My Zinnia seeds started sprouting on day two using this mini greenhouse and my snapdragon seeds came up two days later. Tired of spending a small fortune buying plants? I am too, which is why I started searching for a quick inexpensive way to grow seeds after germinating some sunflower seeds in the windowsill. This product works! It is delicate so it needs to be left alone, limiting how much it is fiddled with—it is all thin plastic! No need to read the directions because it is such an intuitive gadget it just makes sense! Every once and awhile, I discover a new product that is the coolest thing since the invention of sliced bread. This product is one of them. The size, alone, being compact, allows me to easily grow seeds in a small area inside my house. The wiring also gives flexibility to how I organize the mini greenhouses because the wiring is long enough to reach small distances without the greenouses needing to sit tightly next to each other. Love this product. I would spend a few more dollars on this type of device if it were sturdier plastic. I still believe I will get multiple uses from it. I plan to be gentle with it as I pull out my plants....

A bit cheap looking. Plastic not fantastic but well designed. Quite expensive. In my area would’ve been cheaper to go to a “dollar store”.

The base and lid are made of good quality plastic,also the vents are sturdy,I liked them and have many seedlings doing well in them
