I ordered this soldering practice kit for no reason other than to practice soldering. I have a cheap-o 60W soldering station that works fine , and came with a roll of solder. The roll didn't tell me what kind of solder it is, or if it comes included with flux.When I got this kit I was very excited to try it out, and started with what I thought would be the simplest project. I found out, quickly, that it wasn't very simple at all. My hands aren't especially precise, which is part of the reason I want to practice soldering, but this kit was just more than I could handle.If you're looking for a challenge or have enough experience for this, go for it. It'll be a great kit with a bunch of really cool projects. For me, it's been overwhelming. I plan to try another project out soon when I can finish researching more about good soldering practices.The kits come well organized, each in their own bags with schematics laid out. The kits do not come with step-by-step instructions, which is one of the reasons I think you should only try this kit if you already have some experience with SMT/SMD soldering. For a total beginner, this is something that'll knock your socks off.Overall, this is a great challenging thing for any aspiring hobbyist, engineer, tinkerer or STEM kid. There are enough projects to keep you busy for a solid few days. If you're up for the challenge, this is a great and affordable kit to buy.

"I have ordered nearly all of the kits available on Amazon and assembled them as I am sort of addicted to soldering kits :) This kit is by far one of the better quality kits. In terms of circuit board construction, instructions, components, and labeling it is far ahead of other kits. This is really an exceptional kit and worthy of purchase if you are interested in having some fun, practicing your skills, and for a hobby."
